I do not like grinding in general, does not matter what for. Decided to try the Vvardenfell motif just for an hour or so and got it with boss number 15 (i did not count, but it was not that many). I would love to have the one from Summerset, too, but it seems way more difficult to get loot from the geysir bosses (or is the motif in the shell which spawns in the end?)
I actually liked the farming. It gave me something to do. Then again, I'm old school MMOer, and not an instant gratification one.

Grinding 200+ world bosses in Vvardenfell for nothing in return is grossly unfair.
If ZOS wants to give those bad odds, they should make the motifs also available on sale from the Event store for 10 tickets.
There is no third choice.
Not interested since I haven't seen any previews and can't decide whether it's worthy. The game doesn't even tell me what those are, same with IA's racial styles.
For players who grind, are you actually going to wear them? Or just for collection?
Instead of something actually memorable for 10 years of ESO - we get this nonsense.
Not to be too harsh, but the people behind this need to ask themselves are they inherently "fun" enough people to be designing games??
I am thinking they are not.
It's in the shell trove, so all you need to do is tag some of the geyser population for the chance at the style page. The competition for boss loot means the grind can be far less rewarding than it should, though.

Not everyone has the luxury to play 8 9 10hrs a day, 7days a week. People have jobs, family, etc. Do you assume that those who don't have such luxury of time to farm the rare style pages, are 'instant gratification' ones?

You may not enjoy the grind, but I think most will enjoy having the item more knowing that it's rare and because it probably took some effort to get.
People in zone chat whinging about not having it in a couple of hours does.
Some of yall never played another game that wasn't a single player rpg and it shows.
I feel like this is going to happen when someone has been at it for hours and then another person gets it on their second try (real example using myself and my friend).People in zone chat whinging about not having it in a couple of hours does.

I don't think anyone has an issue putting time into stuff, otherwise they would have never been playing an MMORPG to begin with. The problem is that there is no way to ensure that you'll get the thing no matter how much time you put into it, meanwhile others with the power of RNG on their side are getting it right away. Like I'm sorry.... it makes no sense to me that anyone could be aware that some people have done hundreds of dolmens and/or geysers and have yet to get a drop, but not see an issue with that in regards to stuff that's supposed to be for a limited time celebratory event.... no matter how "old-school" one may be.

How does someone enjoy something that frustrates them to no end to get, despite their efforts to ride from geyser to geyser or worse, to out-DPS many others just to be able to loot a WB and praying for RNG?
I think people are aware that it's intended, but Zenimax is creating a product. A product that is then sold to it's current and potential players.... and if the players aren't happy with what they're giving money to, they have every right to voice their discontentment and desire for change. And did anyone consider that just maybe it's intended? Community will never be happy. Just recently people complained about the change in drop rate for a previously incredibly rare item. Too common too uncommon. Yeah, there probably should have been a ramping bad luck protection on it, but there's not. Some people will grind the entire event and still not get any of them. Just how things are.
I wish I could buy them in crown store; grinding is insanely boring. Would be great if they put the style pages in crown store in the last few days of event. I feel like [snip] myself in the head every time I go to another geyser. I've simply given up at this point; NOTHING is worth reaching the point where you start to hate the game because of ZOS's bizarre logic around drop rate.
[edited for profanity bypass]
Once I start seeing there's a grind, I no longer participate in those activities. It definitely dampens the mood of the anniversary activities.
Since the first High Isle event, the limited-time style pages have been a very rare drop. I think it's to prevent flooding the market with pages, but it's made their acquisition quite frustrating. People have been saying the drop rates need to be improved, and it hasn't happened AFAIK. It's irritating they've not acted on our feedback since then, provided it's even been seen, and even made a change to make them bound. @ZOS_Kevin what's up with that?
