Give us a hint about the new companions! Even a few words would suffice!
Forgive me if I missed it, but what about the 7th companion, or is there another thread for that one?

Speaking of, it would be wonderful if the "Special Furnishings" (VFX) category and the "Special Collectibles" (NPCs) category were both doubled from 5 to 10 (default) and 10 to 20 (ESO+) due to the upcoming housing update and new companions.
With 8 companions as well as a banker and a merchant, that maxes out the current 10 "Special Collectibles" category limit.
If ZOS keeps adding more companions, then there will not be enough "furniture-space" for all of them in any player's home.
They've told us what to expect. Unless people are expecting something else, they won't be disappointed.Darkmage1337 wrote: »Update 43 will be one of the most disappointing updates, to date.

Oh, where do I even begin with the absolute masterpiece that is the companion system in Elder Scrolls Online? I mean, they’ve really outdone themselves this time. The AI is truly a marvel—possibly the most inept artificial intelligence seen in a video game since, oh, the dawn of time. "Ah yes, a persistent AoE! Perfect spot to stand in and whine about how much damage I’m taking." Genius, truly.
And let’s not forget the only way they managed to make a companion remotely useful in the Infinite Archive: by making them cheat, of course. Top-notch design, that.
So, let’s be honest, the new companion class? Utterly pointless. But really, it’s no surprise, because underneath it all, every single companion, new or old, is nothing more than a worthless puff of code. Clearly, they've long since given up on this system, and fixing it? Perish the thought!
The only real use for a companion at this point? As a glorified house ornament. Because that’s all they’re good for.
In short, why bother?
Yes! My alternate suggestion to Quistley would have been the Robot from Lost In Space (original).
That probably infringes a copyright somewhere though...
Hopefully we get some more information soon, will they be out with the next PTS cycle?
