Blessed Highmane Lion

The Blessed Highmane Lion from the new crown crates is really beautiful, but appears to have a bug. When I mount, my character disappears and then appears on the mount. Is this intentional? It feels super buggy and poor quality for the amount of money it took to get it.

Looks like the animation is missing, even the preview shows no summoning animation just like your video.
@ZOS_Kevin might need to have a look at it.

I thought it's going to be showcase video for the mount... Can you please show how this beautiful lion roars?

As for summoning animation, I think it's intended - both the rider and the mount appear together in special animation In the past we've never had this unique way of mounting, that's why it looks strange at first.

Could you answer me one thing please? I think of getting it myself but you never can preview the sound design on those mounts. Does it sound like a normal lion when you press space or does it have a tuned up/different version of the lion sound design like the Meridian charger?

For some reason, imgur errors whenever I try to include the audio. It does roar and there are sound effects, but here's a video of what it looks like. The "horns" that are added to your character look really cool.

It sounds like a normal lion. I tried to upload these with the sound enabled, but imgur keeps erroring whenever I include the sound. Sorry about that

Really just the normal lion sound? Not even a little spiced up? The luminous meridian charger also has the "normal" horse sound but with additional effects that spice it up. Maybe you could try youtube. Cant find a single Showcase there.

At risk of reviving an old thread, I'm curious whether this is on the devs' radar to investigate or comment on. The lion is gorgeous, but the mount "animation" (lack thereof) of vanishing and then appearing again a moment later is jarring to the point that I can't imagine it's intended. It feels like whatever animation is supposed to fire there is simply missing.

Any chance we could get confirmation that this is WAI or a bug?

Yes, this has been fixed, but nothing was listed in the patch notes.
