For me, the biggest issue with SitS is: How do you know when you need to purge it?
For this specific effect, I always felt like it should have a more stand out debuff animation. Players start losing health, they double down on heals. Its 100% natural. As natural as players running away when they lose health. Imagine a debuff that said "Lose 1000 Health per second while sprinting" and the player has an incredibly subtle animation debuff on themself. They die not knowing what is going on or why they are dying!
SitS is an effect that naturally preys on natural gameplay. Lose Health -> Heal more. It needs an animation like Eclipse so players can know when to purge it.
