The combat mode is annoying. You can't mount, can't fast travel, because someone/thing is chasing you, about half the map away.
And when you search for them, and at last find them. You give them a taste of your weapon, and they stop, and run back to where they came from. You can't attack them anymore. Just a waste of your time. Annoying as...

The "combat-bug" was unadressed for years in Cyro. Dunno if it has been fixed yet.

The combat mode is totally unnecessary. Just let us fire at what we want, using skills when we want.

Swimming should be a trainable skill. Takes forever to cross a body of water.

The rewards are the same as it has been for years. Especially the chests rewards are poor.

There should at least be different/better rewards the more advanced a chest is to open. More gold, better and more quality stuff.
As it is now, there really isn't much difference in opening a simple or a master. Just the one purple thing. Amount of money the same in all of them.

They should also upgrade the rewards from doing writs.

The so called weaving. You have to be good at cancelling out a feature of the game, to be good in pvp? Really...
What was the point of having those animation there in the first place then, when they encourage us to get rid in combat situations.

Not being able to delete the main questline in the journal, when you already have done it on another, or more, alts.

    Way too many sets.

Apart from this, I really do love ESO, and play it almost every day. Doing writs is a must.

I have more or less given up on pvp though, for reasons stated, not only by me.

"high fantasy" does not mean glowy.

While the other games had "glowy" stuff, ESO has taken it to an entirely new level. Well beyond the other games.

I am hoping that Elder Scrolls 6 does not continue this.

Eh. There was certainly areas in the single player Elder Scrolls that were just as glowy as anything seen in ESO. And most of those cosmetics are themed after the flashier parts of lore.

I don't think what makes ESO "too glowy" is necessarily the cosmetics as it is that's a multiplayer game. If players were the only one that looked that way, and everyone around us when us in plainer outfits, I think it would look better.

I don't think they could necessarily do that. But, glowy sights are rare in the other games and it makes seeing them special and cool. But because there's so many glow mounts and the like running around, it starts feeling more out of place.

ESO's level of glowyness borders on other non-TES games tbh. And the game kinda feels like teen version of TES in some places as well.

I believe it is being held back from being the GOAT by some amorphous group of beings, an indescribable set of faceless people devoid of eyes and ears in a possibly Lovecraftian arrangement. To name this being or beings would be to invoke the dangers of the old ones, so I would recommend against it.

Best to just smile, nod your head, and call it the GOAT to appease them lest they dispense their wrath upon you.

High fantasy doesn't equal glowy and flashy.

I wouldn't mind it as much if the stuff was used in moderation, but it's excessive in ESO. The problem is a lot of the flashy stuff can't simply be ignored, since the devs have not added ways for us to toggle off unwanted effects.
