Unfortunately, ZOS doesn't give a damn about guilds. Any other day, I would happily be playing something else. Tuesdays, I'm having to batter the login button to get in to make sure my guilds have traders.1 -

One appeared to be holding court and all the other strays in the area (with some delightful names I can't remember now) were wandering up to listen. Now it is going to bug me as to where I saw them. And unfortunately while the maintenance is going on I can't go retrace my steps to figure it out.
There is such a congregation in Suran, Vvardenfell. It's part of a cat quest that results in a very cat-appropriate furnishing. I highly recommend any cat fanciers do that quest as soon as possible!
That sounds like it might be the right place. I was probably pickpocketing in that zone at the time. Thanks.
What you describe doesn't actually sound like that quest to me. (quest name, "Nothing to Sneeze At," given by Tilenra Sildreth.)
There is a congregation of cats near the end of that quest, outside the door of an Altmer's shop in Suran, but it is part of the quest, and I'm not sure if you can see them if you aren't the one doing the quest.

Unfortunately one of their more annoying habits is they like waking me at 3am or other silly times so they are shut out of my room over night. Much to their disgust and blatant trickery and sneakiness in trying to get in there and find a place to hide.
I have to keep my door shut at night, too. A big big tabby boy and an ebony girl - both rescues and still a bit feral - they always will come in but never sleep with me. Just on the bed and up to a window sill. Jarring. If they would just conk out on the bed, I'd be happy. For all that, they are affectionate in their own way and get along swell.0 -

They are tightly constrained as to what (and when) they can share.

Yes and there's a non-named, different colored version of that toy that drops from pickpocketing thieves and outlaws across Tamriel.

Why are we only learning this after the fact though? Nearly an hour after maintenance was supposed to end. How many promises of better communication will it take before better communication actually happens? You don't even remember the Maintenance Announcements forum exists.
The maintenance is always boring backend stuff unless they announce it isn't. I don't see why they need to announce it every time. Besides, it's not exactly good operational security to announce that your firmware is out of date and requires patching.
while backend maintenance is boring, an initial window of 11 hours is still 2-3 times longer than the normal maintenance window so it would have been better if there was some explanation why the long downtime
it took 2 threads about the maintenance to get them to even mention that there was a delay on the maint making it take longer than expected
i think thats the kind of communication that people are expecting that isnt happeningplays PC/NA

✭✭✭✭✭Well, something like firmware upgrades isn't a quick and dirty one and done. Now, I don't know what sort of server blades they're using - but the only time I ever had to do a firmware upgrade on a machine of my own the warnings were over a page long, and didn't really give me anything but "palpitations" to quote my grandmother.
That whole thing went "okay" - but I was very worried the entire time. After that, I just paid someone to do it. It was easier - if the shop screwed the pooch, THEY would be on the hook (that was "back then" - shops now have "exclusions" of course).
In any case, anyone expecting ZOS to provide chapter and verse ahead of time hasn't been around here long....______________________________________________________
