Traders & Storage questions

Well its been an interesting 9 years LOL ups and downs and LOTS OF NEW ITEMS LOL .... Question about storage, will there be ANY type of storage space increase? More and more items are released to keep, hold, or bound items, items to store motifs, furnishing plans ... plus so much more. Basically i hear and see SOOOOO many full time and even part time players in big big need of space.... we have the housing coffers... and the 3 crown pets and max space with ESO plus LOL sooo (WITHOUT MAKING IT A CROWN STORE ITEM) can storage get a buff soon? even double the storage coffer spaces and maybe release a new one or two? lol

Traders... ALOT of people play the game LOVING the trading & selling/farming pastime. With so many items being in the game now, we really need to go up in # of guilds we can join (( if you only play in 1 guild or have no interest in added guild slots then please respect the people that do want this by not leaving negative comments please)) 30 slots was great in 2014 and other earlier years. Now 9 years since release alot of people have talked about the guild space beacuse you need to join so many traders to be able to sell things without being over run with items. Maybe add it as a ESO plus perk? idk but ik the XBOX community would appreciate it ALOT as it regularly comes up in conversations.

Maybe stop hording stuff in general?

as for the more trader slots, the ability to invest into a trader as a guild to aquire more slots for each member would be a nice idea and a solid gold sink, which is something the game DESPERATELY needs

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic.

    Thank you for your understanding.

i understand it sounds like i MAY be a hoarder but i am not, i keep my monster sets so not to have to transmute them. Save my event style pages and valuable items to sell later in the year, motifs, furnishing plans, ALLLLL the crown gifts and i only keep the scrolls and crafting xp + mounts xp's. Then pvp items (i dont keep the basic items) then my maps. which i only keep DLC ones till i have a few in my mail i have to get my friends to RTS to me... i could go on lol. i play the game 8-121h a day. everyday so im on alot.

..... n ow that thread is moved it will die sadly.... shame i didnt get more replies

I was once like you and believed I had to keep all my monster sets and stuff. But I became a believer in Reconstruction. With the downfall of monster sets in general, I only keep the ones that cost more than 50 transmutes to reconstruct. Everything else got scrapped. As for armor sets, I only keep healer and tank sets for my characters to swap out for content and weapons, again, that would cost more than 50 transmutes to reconstruct. I do keep jewelry, and that has become the bulk of my bank.

Its still quite a bit of stuff, and I do use the crown storage chests for PVP gear, as I do not do as much in Cyrodiil so my sticker book is not a filled out as the PVE gear. But transmutes are so easy to get, and when you decon reconstructed gear, you get the transmutes back, so its a wash. Let it go!

This might seem rude @Amethyst_Unearthed but what you've said is basically "I don't hoard stuff but here's a list of stuff I hoard"
In other words, if you were given more storage space you would just end up filling it up in no time resulting in you being in the same situtation alllll over again, yet many others are able to get along with just 60 bag slots, so I beleive it is more of a player problem rather than a storage problem
    • Monster sets: pick one to use, if you are going to use one and decon the rest, if something changes in the meta you can very easily reconstruct said set later
    • event style pages/motif/furnshing plans: While I get it that making a ton of gold is "nice" you have to strike a balance between how much you value your storage space vs how greedy you wanna be with making coin
    • Crown gifts: If you have maxed out mount on all your chars then why hang onto the upgrades for it? why bother with the crafting exp ones, the whole thing takes like a month, tops if you push for it, exp scrolls...again, why? reaching max level is comically easy and getting high cp isn't as important as it used to be, not by a loooong shot
    • PvP items: use a storage chest if it's that much of an issue
    • Maps: Sell them or use them

being able to reconstruct gear has greatly alleviated any need to store gear items

if you have the set fully collected, it cost 25 transmute to recreate, then if your not happy for whatever reason, you can decon the set to get those transmute back and make another item

i usually have specific storage chests dedicated to storing some of these other items you mention, such as event items

i also have a chest dedicated to storing crown consumables that are less useful for me (xp/research scrolls)

i keep other more useful consumables in my bank so that any character can access them (crown food, repair kits, lockpicks, some extra soul gems, edicts to remove bounty, writs) and i use my bank to transfer items such as motifs/blueprints that i need to learn on my main

currently most of my toons are using less than half of their bag space on avg and my bank is only about half full (and majority of that is master writs right now)

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

I'm in 4 trading guilds, that's 120 sale slots, and I have NO issue what-so-ever with sale slots.

I worry that giving players MORE sales slots would just incentivize players to dump more over-priced stuff in their guild trader and forget about it. You want your stuff to sell? Lower the price! You can't lower the price? Stop trying to flip.

There is Hoarding, and there is keeping stuff that matters. I learned long ago, old sets do not come back into favor, the Meta is a Myth and chasing the top 1% is only for Leaderboards.

We don't need to keep everything.

And, this post is made by one of the worst Hoarders in Bethesda Games, ever. I used to collect every single weapon, armor and jewelry in the single player games, along with all the Uniques. That is how I "completed" a game.

Now, I just keep what will be most useful to my characters.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I'm more concerned that OP plays the game 8 to 12 hours a day. That can't be physically good for cardio health.

Well when your health keeps you stuck at home, and your disabled it beats staring at walls.
