Hey zos is there anything Planed on the super late Stages other than score? It feels a bit not rewarding enough for people who take the time and Grind that super hard. Also the Balancing there feels wierd where some things oneshot you and other things you can survive even unblocked.

✭✭I'm going to go out on a limb.. and say they didn't expect you to spend over half a day in there xD
But I agree there should maybe be some sort of bonus for spending inordinate amounts of times succeeding.
Keep in mind though, it is inhering to the design that it will be less rewarding the more time spent in a run after a certain point.. endless doesn't mean endless fun or endless reward.

I feel like that's half correct. Yes you don't want to try to keep upping the rewards for various reasons. I don't however think it has to be less fun when properly and creatively designed.
I'm sure people here could list several ideas that would make the archive truly surprising and interesting well into the later levels.
Though that would take a lot more dev time than would probably be worth it to ZOS. Also it's probably not a good idea to give gamers any more reasons to have crazy long extended sitting periods 🙂Edited by Bushido2513 on September 25, 2023 5:57PM0 -

So in Arc 18, they'd be getting 1900 per cycle boss kill, almost 10x their Arc 1 rate.

We got to arc 17 (Well, half-intentionally wiped at 16 thoat, basically made it to 17 flat after 12.5 hours) and it already capped out like arc 10 or 12 i dont really remember. its quite fuzzy. It kind of sucks that they cap it out so early.5 -

✭✭Congrats! That's awesome. Would love to hear more about the visions, builds, and strategies the two of you found helpful.
I think the rewards overall should be improved, but I don't think they should make doing 5+ hour runs more incentivized, let alone 10+. If you could save runs and complete them later, sure. But for one sitting, it's an excessive time commitment that would be not healthy for a lot of people.
I almost think they should make it un-endless unless they add a way to pause & continue.PC-NA
