Half baked.

There's no technical reason why it can't do exactly that. Whether or not the addon gets updated in a timely manner to properly support the stations is another question, but that ball is not in ZOS's court.
It doesn't look possible currently for the mod author of writworthy.

I see no reason why it can't be done. The API exists and is fairly straightforward to use. The maintainer was reacting to a user comment and hadn't looked at the API changelog at that point.
In any case, support for GMCS in WritWorthy will require an update to Dolgubon's LibLazyCrafting, and he's said that he probably won't do that until after U40 goes live, so people will likely have to wait a bit, but there's no reason to fear that it won't happen.

Well it is unfortunate to hear that WritWorthy may not integrate with the new attunables. The primary reason guildies (in my case anyways) use the tables is for master writs and WritWorthy is a necessary addon for the amounts of writs being completed.
A true 'ESO life improvement' would be:
1- New attunables work with WritWorthy OR
2- The elements of WritWorthy that make it a required add-on for quality of game life should be integrated into the base game for all players.
So, until the time comes when either of those two scenarios happen in ESO, then there is no point in getting the new attunable stations for a Guild Hall.

Agree. Not getting the new stations for myself until a verified workable version of WritWorthy for them is available. Doing master writs easily trumps the furniture space, especially now that they’re only releasing 3 new craftable sets/year instead of 6.
Also, that isn't very feasible to remember all the names of the sets when you are trying to do hundreds of writs at a time (I wait until double exp events to slam through my writs), plus I help run a guild and we get so many writ donations that literally can do hundreds in a few weeks
I can confirm that method described in addon's comments on ESOUI works with current version:
Queue all writs as usually
Walk up to station, type name of one of the sets (or just navigate to it) you have in queue, click on the name, exit and re-enter station. It will craft all items for the set you have in queue
If you have writs for same set from other crafts, just walk up to different station, it will autocraft with no need to select again.
Once you are done, select next one and keep repeating these steps until you are done.
@BergisMacBride @Batgirl32
Lib Lazy Crafting was updated, it now works with WritWorthy full auto Walk up to station, crafts everything.
