Losing ticket because of the preventing losing tickets system

I'm currently at 11 tickets, last day of the event, and i'd like to end the event with 12 tickets.
Problem is, you gain 2 tickets per day, the Impresario only sells items at 2 tickets or more, and the game will deny me any tickets because i would get over the tickets cap of 12 tickets.
Is there anyway to bypass the automatic system that prevent losing tickets ? Cause it's actually making me losing one ticket :/
Thanks in advance

Same here. What a nightmare. I'd rather lose one ticket so that I can take 12 tickets to the next event and use them for something I actually want. Then waste 2 tickets on something I don't want. If I had known this would happen I wouldn't have done the dungeon run for today. I hate doing dungeons.

I submitted a ticket when I got the gold box from the boss but not the ticket. But guess it's not actually a bug but a feature. A very annoying, and in some situations detrimental feature.

So in fact, you are not losing any tickets, you are just obsessed with ending 12/12 instead of 11/12.

No. You do not understand, during the event you can earn 2 tickets a day. I have done what is needed to earn those tickets, but because I already have 11 tickets, it is not allowing me to collect the reward I have earned because of the new safe guard that is supposed to prevent you losing tickets.

The ticket cap is twelve, and in past events you would earn your daily tickets but lose any over the cap. so if you had 11 and you earned 2, you'd get the 1 to take you to the cap but lose the other.

With the new system, it is not letting you collect any of the reward you have earned even because it would take you over the cap. So we are in fact losing the ticket we have earned.

So then go to Impressario and buy something and then go again do the dungeon.
I encountered it because I forget that I have 12/12 so I went again to the another dungeon and there was tickets.

Sounds like very strange perfectionism to me. You can't buy anything for 12 or 6 tickets exact so you will have to spend some tickets on something you don't need anyway so why not spend it now?

I always saving tickets for another event. And for example next event is in the Necrom, so without Necrom chapter you can't do anything and you ca't earn tickets but Impressario is on every major city so if you save tickets you can for example buy last piece for outfit ;)
And if I don't want anything else I always buy repair kits for 2tickets.

The Impresario only sells for 2 tickets or more, so if you buy anything just for the sake of spending tickets and getting below the cap, you'll then get 2 tickets from the dungeon and you'll be at the exact same number of tickets than before

Well, if you really need 12/12 you can still buy ticket for 250 crowns. TBH I am glad for that safety mechanism because with wife we could lose several tickets. So rather have 11/12 then lose more.
Ofc sure, there can be better safe guard for tickets. That allows you to get at least 1 and for another run you get rest of tickets but... And isn't it better to have something than nothing at all?

ZOS should make the 12 a softcap and 14 the hardcap, where we can go over to 13-14 tickets if we still pick up tickets when at 10 or 11. But can't pick up anymore when at 12 or above, unless we spend them.

Or ZOS could just remove the cap, or let tickets drop one by one. So we can pick them up one by one if we want to, instead of having to pick up the entire stack of tickets in one go.

The way ZOS fixed this issue isn't bad, but not being able to get part of the tickets is a major oversight.

Well, it escalated very quickly ^^' I'm not asking them to remove the safe guard but a way to improve it.
Like having a window to have to confirm you want the tickets anyway while it implies losing some or all (the same way you have to confirm you want to destroy some items).
Or having an option to remove the safe guard in the settings, safe guard being activated by default.

I really hate that there's a limit to how many tickets you can hold at all. Feels like just another tacky way to push purchases on us - "Here's this item/skin/costume from the event, but you won't be able to get enough tickets and you can't save em up! Only way to get it is to buy half the items now and hope they come back, or BUY BUY BUY TICKETS FROM THE CROWN STOOOORE!"

90% of the stuff you can get is already locked to the crown store, give it a rest already and let us save our tickets...

Have you ever been in an event where there is still something you want but you are short one ticket? Why would I want to spend the tickets I've earned on something I don't want? Group repair kits?, The game gives away more than enough repair kits that I really do not see the point of them. I'd rather save the tickets for something I do want so I lessen the chance of being one ticket short in the future.

Buying event tickets from the crown store is really not the answer, when I already earned the ticket but the new system just does not allow me to collect it.

In the past, if I hit the cap early but there was nothing I wanted I would no longer take part in the event and would use my game time to do other things. Like I said before, If I'd known the new safeguard was going to deny me the ticket I had earned I wouldn't have run a dungeon today and would have done something more enjoyable with my time.

Nope, I've been playing for just 6 months and never had this problem! There are more then enough tickets given out in every event. I'm pretty sure I spent like 30 tickets on those veteran bags, or whatever they were called, because I had nothing else to spend them on. (I'm not interested in Indriks)

They could pretty easily solve this by offering a useful item that costs one ticket from the impresario.

I personally don't like this new system either. Yes, people are strange, like me and the OP who only want to stack to 12 for the next event because they have exhausted everything they want to buy for this one. If they had put out decorations like they've done in the past where you could buy something for one ticket, that would be awesome and would fix the problem, and it sounds like that is what they need to do

This is just another example of ZOS putting out an incomplete, if expedient, fix for a long running problem. Instead of resolving the original problem that allowed a player to unknowingly lose tickets they decide to not allow the player to collect any tickets. The correct fix would have been to popup a warning that the player would run the risk of losing tickets and asking if they wished to proceed to receive the tickets or not. If the player decided to continue they would only receive the tickets taking them to 12. If they chose not to receive the tickets they could spend some and receive their allotment on a later dungeon run. It was the option to be warned and allowed to decide that was asked for by players not to be short changed as the current fix does.

Even if there is a 1 ticket thing to buy, that doesn't help the fact that the player will lose out on the tickets they _could_ have received if this block was not in place. That NPC is not there in the dungeon, and even if he was, it is too late.

If I have 11 tickets, I would much rather get a ticket so I have 12 tickets and be told to try again tomorrow than lose all of the tickets and be told to try again tomorrow, and still have 11 tickets.

YES I AM! I did the math on my tickets, and I would also have ended on getting 11/12 by the final hours as there was nothing I could buy with tickets to make it equal to 12/12. I decided to just eat the last 2 and waste those tickets so I end with 12/12, 4 tickets lost into oblivion.

I like the new system. It saved me several times during this event from losing daily tickets. Most of this event I was sitting at 11 event tickets. The game let me know, I spent 2 on a group repair kit, and then I got the 2 tickets for that day on the next random dungeon. I like that much better versus running the first dungeon of the day and losing the daily event tickets forever because I was already at 11 or 12 tickets at the start of the day.

Separately, I don't really care if I end up with 11 or 12 tickets at the end of an event. Just not a concern for me.

I have 11 tickets. So today I've logged in and saw that there is 15 minutes before the end of the event. I did quick dungeon run to get 1 more ticket. But I was not prepared that the game won't let me to earn any tickets at all :/ When I looted final boss, I only got a message to try this activity again after spending some tickets. There were only 2 minutes remaining of the event, so I had no time to do anything. I sent my feedback in game, at least :D

I dislike this new system

It might only be one ticket, but if nothing is changed that could be one ticket per event. Or 2 if it's a 3 ticket event. There's 12 events a year so potentially that's an extra morph item you can't get because it won't let you loot that odd ticket.

The Impresario doesn't really have anything interesting to buy at the end of an event. I have all the outfit styles and the available fragments already.

What am I supposed to buy? A guild commendation for my companions, that all have lvl10 in all three guilds?
Or a bloody group repair kit? Why should I repair some random dudes stuff, because he's to stuuupid to bring his own repair kits? Yeah. Sure.
There need to be mire viable and more valuable options. Much more valuable options

Just so that you know, OP complains that he has to go into the next event with less tickets than possible. Some events just have more interesting stuff to buy with tickets and some events do not give as much tickets as you'd like to spend.
    Thats the problem.

im usually fine just ending at 10+ tickets, someone mentioned a soft cap, and honestly i think thats the reason why we were given 12 as the current cap, since most things cost 10 tickets, or we are given tickets in increments of 2 or 3 in most cases (3 divides into 12 easier than 10)
I don't know why it's not just a warning instead of a complete prevention from picking up the tickets. So dumb

if the tickets were given through a quest, it would usually have red warning text, but i dont know if this was changed again with the new ticket loss prevention measures

Thankful someone else made a thread on this as it's an issue I ran into yesterday. I went and did my dungeon with absolutely no idea about the new change. Finished the final boss and looted and lost out on the ticket because I was also at 11.

I know people have wanted a fail safe for a long time and I'm absolutely not against people getting one. But this just smacks of turning one problem into another. I'm unable to claim whatever tickets I now need to hit the 12 cap for no reason. I'm fine with a pop up warning and having to accept the consequences of losing tickets if need be but I fail to see why I can now no longer claim what I've earned.

I also did the math yesterday and to claim my 2 I would of needed to spend 2, leaving me at 11 tickets regardless. While this isn't an issue with the end of this specific event, that will bite people in the behind when they're clamouring down to the wire on future events when the impresario goodies far outweigh the tickets available. And while it was one wasted ticket this time, it will be 2 on future events if you're sat at 10 and can't obtain 3 from looting.

    Please rethink this ZOS.

Uh. They just introduced a new policy whereby a player who has space for event tickets is blocked from getting event tickets that they earned if they can't take all of the event tickets they are entitled to. That would suggest to me that raising the cap is not even on the table.
