The Grand Master Crafting Stations are Bind on Pickup, many guild members support their guild houses by purchasing Attunable Crafting stations and donating them to the owner of the guild house, the Grand Master Crafting stations should also be able to be purchased and donated, and like the attunable crafting stations bound when they are attuned, or in this case, placed and fed

Yes, these need to not be BOP. These would be an excellent source of revenue for folks who have many vouchers (such as Khajiit, who has approx 43k and counting)
    PC-NA : 19 Khajiit and 1 Fishy-cat with fluffy delusions. cp3600
GM of Imperial Gold Reserve trading guild (started in 2017) since 2/2022
Come visit Karth's Glitter Box, Khajiit's home. Fully stocked guild hall done in sleek Khajiit stylings, with Grand Master Stations, Transmute, Scribing, Trial Dummies, etc. Also has 2 full bowling alleys, nightclub, and floating maze over Wrothgar.

I have to agree with them not being bound. GM in one of my guilds is not a Grand Master Crafter and I'd like to be able to donate a table or two to the guild.

@ZOS_GinaBruno - Bound on pickup is a huge issue. It wasn't in the patch notes. Could you please just let us know if this is intentional, or if it's a bug that'll be fixed?

    Thanks!

I have mixed feeling about the implementation of these. I was expecting a collectible that you could put into everyone of your homes like storage chests are currently. I have spent many crowns on some of those homes and making them craft worthy was an exciting thought when I heard these were in development. As they are designed now, I do not think it is feasible to accomplish.

Unfortunately you will need to buy a new one and feed it a whole new set of attunable tables, if you want to build a second crafting home, third craft home, etc., which will be a tedious process to repeat. Keeping them as implemented certainly would not detract from attunable table values.

I agree that being bound on acquire will lower their utility to many players that do not pursue crafting perfection, like myself. Players who do not pursue the Grand Master Crafter achievement may have to do with a sea of attunable tables. One solution might be to help the GM that needs the achievement get it, but that may be tedious for many.

I tested and they do not allow the same set to be added twice which is a good thing.

I tested picking them up with others in inventory with tables fed to the ones placed and they do not stack once fed, which is a good thing because saved feeding progress would be lost.

I tested the upgraded looks as you fed tables to them and it was not very noticeable while feeding them as you are always panned into the closest view while using the tables. Perhaps a view slightly more distant would allow someone to see this effect.

Placing an unfed table into a home does not inherit any fed tables. Not entirely sure how to feel about this.

Picking up and feeding 308 was very tedious. Any chance these could be made to eat the tables placed in a home or if not, atleast eat them from the bank as current inventory space is limited to 215?

It is still extremely tedious to manually craft sealed writs. I am hoping that the craft addons are given the API access to work with these new tables and that the authors can adapt them quickly.

That is all I had time to test for today.

I kind of expected when you add the attunable tables, that I'd be able to buy another set of Master Crafter tables and put them in another home and have all the tables available, but this is on a per-Master Crafter table basis.

I feel the 1500 writ PER TABLE price is really steep, we've already paid 1000 writs per set, times 77. I could understand the price a bit better if the attunable tables we added were account-bound and could get additional Master Craft tables for other houses.

i have to agree with the sentiments here. Please do not keep these as bind on pick up. No other crafting station atuneable our standard available for writ vouchers is set up this way. Please change so that these can be sold.

It makes sense to bind them to the account once you start feeding stations into them, but doing that in advance of that action means that you can not trade, gift, transfer them. and as stated above it will prevent/discourage people from donating to guilds.

I too was very much hoping these would be collectible furnishings like the chests. With tables only taking up 4 slots, that would have meant that we could craft in nearly any home that fit our mood that day. This alone would make extra homes worth a purchase! Grand Topal is my guild house and we need the space for all the Mundus, dummies, etc, but I was personally looking forward to crafting on the new ship. However, it's all I can do to keep up with one set of attuned tables, so unless these new tables can be classified as collectibles, that will never happen for me.

I also agree that it would have been nice for these not to become bound until a table is fed into them. They're necessary for guild houses, but it's likely that not every GM has a Grand Master Crafter. They're busy people, after all!

Other than that, these are great, seem to work well, and I'm so grateful they finally happened. I had all kinds of decorations planned to put around them now that I'll have the furnishing slots available, but they're so pretty that I'm not sure I need to anymore!. :)

Console plebe, so no real useful feedback since we have no PTS. Just a request that would be super helpful for console players and PC players to lesser extent. Plus, allow us to add a Master craft Mediator known as Rolis Hlaalu or some other assistant we could add to our homes. To save the extra loading screens. To turn our master writs into.

PC from my understanding has cool add-ons that enable the ability to do lots of writs before turning in. We poor console players have to jump through lots of needless loading screens to do the same thing. Greatly increasing the time doing writs comparably. Please throw use a bone here. I know you want people to use towns, but a little QOL improvement here would mean a lot.

Nonrelated but while I am here, please give a mini map too on console with better zoom on maps too.

    Stay safe :)

Why it is made this way? You have to pay 83 million of gold (and more in future) for just one full set which is already very, very high cost. There is no way to pay double of that amount just to have second set in another house. It should work like this - when you feed grandmaster station with attunable, than it goes to your collections and you can use this set in EVERY grandmaster station you will buy. It's still cost you 6 million gold to buy stations for another house, so it woulb already high cost enough?

Even from database point it would be more eficient to have one collectible data from evey player than data for every freaking grandmaster station in game.

Why making life harder for players and game performance? There is absolute no reason to make it that way, when even with collectible option it will be still too hard for 90% of playerbase...

The cost for the stations is too high. They should cost no more than an attunable station. You are buying 77,000 vouchers worth of stations for the (current) sets, you have to have an achievement in order to purchase the Grand Stations, it takes a lot of in game time to feed the stations, don't make every part of this suck. Reduce the cost of the Grand Stations to equal an attunable (or less).

I'm very disappointed they'll be bound. I have all the sets in a house on another account and don't do writs on there. Not sure how I'll manage to get them.

Adding to what others have said, these are much too expensive for something that isn't even a collectible. Could have been amazing qol addition if we could use them in multiple houses. How many people really collect all the sets more than once anyway, so what would it hurt?

Comments on what others have said:

First, I'm really glad they exist, that they're SO pretty, that they'll save so many furnishing slots, and that the user interface is good. (I was really concerned about that.) And that they aren't expensive crown-only furnishings (especially since there's no crown gifting for the foreseeable future), like trial dummies, Mundus stones, Aetherial Well, and vampire furnishings - which most of us already have in our guild houses.

But bound on pickup isn't really acceptable, especially since this was announced at the beginning of the year, and many guilds have been preparing for it ALL YEAR - we would've been preparing differently if we'd had a clue.

For the six years of our guild's existence, it has been a team effort assembling the Guild Island. I have a master crafter, but my friend does all the master writs and buys the stations. I take them out and attune them, provided the Island itself, and organize the mass into something that people - including her - can use easily. It works.

If we'd known, I would've been doing master writs all year, building up writ vouchers for this. Instead, I've given them to her as usual. So they've been done. We're ready. Unless the stations are bound. Then she has many thousands of writ vouchers, and I don't have master writs to do - which are going to be hard to find, as everyone will suddenly be trying to do them in the next month.

I really hope this is a mistake, and we'll know soon that it is. Please don't do this to us!

As for the grand master stations being a collectible - I never would've expected that. It would be nice, especially given the cost of the stations themselves, and even more so, everything that goes into them. I expected them to bind once they were placed, or attuned stations were fed into them - just not upon pickup.

It seems a very strange decision to make these tables bop, especially as ZoS must be aware that guild houses are frequently kitted out with donations and help from all guildmates!!

Personally I have already promised one crafting house owner, enough master writs and the mats to complete them, to cover the purchase of one station.

I am lucky, I rarely get around to doing master writs, so I have a lot saved, also this house owner is a Grandmaster Crafter.

The really big issue is going to be the owners of guild houses that aren't Grandmasters and I bet there are a few!!

You introduce a really great item that has been requested so many times BUT then make it impossible for some to use, why would you do that??

It took me 10 minutes to move all my stations into the master stations. Is this a 'very long time' for some people? It probably took me longer than it should have because I didn't clear out my backpack before starting and only had 80 open slots.

On my limited testing, I like them.

Not sure how to rebuild my crafting factory, since I now have a lot of open space...

Adding this. It would have been nice to know in advance that master grand crafter achievement was needed for this as well.

Reason for this complaint is simple. Since we do not have access to a much requested guild house, many guilds have set up dedicated alternative accounts to use a primary house as a guild house so that the gm and other officers do not have to give up their primary housing slot for the purpose. Never before have attuned stations been achievement locked as well as bind on pickup.

So now many of us are forced to grind out grand master crafter, because well its not like I can move all of those crafting stations to an account that has rhe achievement, nor do I have another 80k writ vouchers to start fresh.

I don't care if the Master Tables are account bound so they can be placed in multiple houses, I can travel to the house they are in...

I do care that they can't be purchased and donated to a guildmate/ friend.

I do not care if they can be purchased or sold in a guild trader for gold, beyond that is what will happen if they are able to be, and I am ok with it if they are.

I have purchased (with Writ vouchers) hundreds of attunable tables, but only own a dozen or so, I bought them for guildmates and friends (who are also guildmates) to make sure they had all the tables they needed to create a full service house/guild hall...

I really don't care much if a fully loaded Master Crafting table can be quickly duplicated by the owner to put in some other house beyond the knowledge that I will not be able to do that even after the all the attunable tables I have purchased and donated, because I donated them in support of the communities/guilds I have been in... but then, why do I need to be able to craft every possible weapon and piece of armor in every house I own?

Now, if there were another Master Crafting Table, a Master Furnishing Crafting Table, that was able to craft every piece of furniture I know (from all 7 crafting types) and only take up 1 housing slot, that would be awesome...

There are houses that aren't suitable for use as guild houses (because they don't fit mundus and all that in them) that it would be really handy to have the sets in. Gardner House in Wayrest comes to mind as the closest house to a writ turn-in. I'm definitely going to keep all the sets in my main guild house so everything's together, which would make getting them all again for Wayrest a really expensive extravagance.

It's a shame they've gone in this direction with them really - if I could've put them anywhere I'd have considered the odd crown purchase to set up more houses for personal use - a private trial dummy here, a couple of the most used mundus there, that sort of thing. As it is I'll just keep using my guild house but on the bright side I'll save a lot of money!

I don't mind that the stations are Bind on Pickup despite the fact that it cost 1500 writs per station, but please allow the stations to become collectables that can be used in each of our houses we own similar to what was done with the Chronometer of the Tribunal. That was an item we could buy with writs, but it became an account collectable that we can place in each of our houses. So we already know this is within the realm of possibilities of things that could be done, so why exclude that feature?

Please allow the master stations to become a collectable that we can use in each house, we already put a lot of work into it, let us have that flexibility!

I'll echo some of the comments already here.

The stations should not be Bind on Pickup. This severely disadvantages guildhall owners who have not completed the Grand Master Crafter achievement and may be relying on donations from their members to stock/equip their guildhalls. Along those same lines, I'm unsure why "Grand Master Crafter" was set as the requirement for purchase. If an achievement of some sort is absolutely necessary, some level of the "Unsurpassed Crafter" achievement would make more sense since writ vouchers are the currency and you get the achievement by earning the currency. I'm of mixed mind on the cost (1500 vouchers vs 250 for a regular attunable). It's pretty much in line with the usual pay-for-convenience reasoning that goes with a lot of stuff, but that's still a lot of Master Writs as the cost of freeing up furnishing slots. I was honestly expecting the cost to be more in line with the cost of a normal attunable station (which we're still going to have to pay for to make the AIO station useful).

What the PC add-ons are actually doing can already be done on console in that they help with making the writ item(s) ahead of time. All platforms are limited to one active Master Writ in each craft, so those of use who use add-ons for Master Writs end up making a bunch of stuff, then stand in front of Hlaalu and spend a lot of time accepting a writ, turn it in, accept a writ, turn it in, accept a writ, turn it in... until we've exhausted the stuff we've made. Console players can already do the same. Where console comes up a bit short here is that there is greater opportunity for Mr. Fumble Fingers to come visit and you end up with one or more pieces that don't meet the writ's requirements. It's not the loading screens and transitions as much as the possibility of mis-clicking in the making.

To play Devil's Advocate on the assistants proposal, those are Special Collectibles and there is a limit of 5 (10 with ESO Plus) on the largest homes. With five service assistants already out there, non-subscribers either sub or do without one, and asking to have furnishing limits increased to accommodate is akin to flogging a dead horse at this point. It's an interesting idea, but it runs into practical limits.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

This is a great idea, that way you can place your table in multiple homes of yours, like your own private one if you have another built for a guild’s convenience.
