New secrets, new stories, new art, new mechanics, new gear, new challenges, new motifs... I hope this q3 bug fix and qol thing is a one time deal
During the ESO Global Reveal back in January, we announced that we were taking the time during this development cycle to focus on polishing existing in-game systems and addressing some longstanding requests, which you’ll find throughout this update.

The passage that I've highlighted makes it sound like it might be a temporary thing for this year only.
As mentioned earlier this year, we’ve taken a change in approach with this update where we’re taking more time for polish and quality of life improvements during this time of year.

And it looks like there are a lot of bug fixes in U39. If everyone's personal "favorite" (or "most important") bug didn't get fixed this time around, that doesn't mean it won't get fixed eventually.

My understanding, which definitely could be wrong, was that we only got two dungeons because we are getting the yet-to-be-released never-ending dungeon instead.
So I'm also hoping that part of the change might be temporary and we'll get more four dungeons next year. The dungeon content is my favorite kind of content.

I am not seeing how this is better than the old way. A new chapter comes out then basically nothing for a year? (Yes, I know “endless dungeon” and two new dungeons. Great…)
Why stay subbed? This chapter even has less to do then previous ones.
I had assumed this year they were just trying to get out of the way of “Starfield”, but if this is the new cadence of content, this is just awful.
I guess in the future it will be: buy the chapter, get eso+ for a month or two, then just do other stuff for the rest of the year.
Suddenly fallout 76 seems like a better game to be subbed to… Unbelievable.
