    There was when I made that post. It was removed - if you look, the guidelines post has been edited.

    Right now it is only possible to gift one crate bundle at a time, meaning if want to get the 15-crates-bundle 4 times, the person who will gift it to me has to submit 4 seperate tickets.
    Tickets get deleted as duplicates though, so we have to submit 1 ticket, then wait for several days, then create the next ticket, etc.. This makes the process harder for everyone, including the people at zos, so please change this system and make it so that we can gift several packs with one ticket @ZOS_Kevin

    In addition to that, tickets can also be deleted as duplicates if there are different recipients - someone tried to gift me the 25-crates-bundle, and wanted to gift another player the same bundle - both tickets got deleted for being 'duplicates', which doesn't make any sense. It just creates more work for everyone.

    Someone told me you can get 25crates+polymorph bundle only for 1 time for 1 account.

    Let’s be real, ZOS is far more concerned with getting a dollar than helping players. You’re blind if you think otherwise. The fact that they still have this predatory loot box system in place just shows you how little your concerns as a player are to them.

    The person they're talking about tried to gift the bundle to two separate people, not the same person.

    @ZOS_Kevin
    Would it be possible for support to just process several orders from one ticket? I don't really see why it would be an issue, and it would cut down on the flood of tickets they'll be getting. It doesn't seem like it'd be any different to do several orders at once, the ticket would track how many Crates were going to which players. Just let people do something like:

    "I want to buy three 25-Crate bundles for the following people:

    @PlayerABC
    @Player123
    @PlayerXYZ

    It's easier for the person buying multiple packs and it's easier on support to not have to individually answer the same requests on different tickets.

    WHAT A JOKE. Denied using their own form. And this was submitted on Thursday first thing when the site was live. This was for 1 x25 unfeathered crate bundle. A separate ticket was for 1 x15 unfeathered crate. We are friends in game. I was the intended recipient. I do not already have the bundle on my account.

    @Zalathorm / @spartan62893_ESO , so you both went through the process at help.elderscrollsonline.com, asked for one crate pack to be gifted to someone and this was the response?

    Or what did you request?

    Just trying to figure out whether it is safe to make that sort of request again without being banned or something.

    EDIT: Maybe it was the "intended specifically for those who want to gift Crown Crates to friends and guildmates on the same megaserver platforms" thing that bugged them?

    I am pretty sure I was accused of fraudelent behavior by your support team last time I tried to get some crown crates for 4 actual friends. So I'd like to make sure I don't get that response again...

    This system radically reduces the rate at which crown crates can be gifted. Is that the point?

    Has anyone been able to utilize this system of crown crate gifting to gift crates yet?

    When can we expect an actual fix to the ability to gift crown crates as was promised five months ago?

    I was attempting to gift a 15 pack to a friend, yes. After a little more than 48 hours, I got that response.

    Gotta love that the system THEY told us to use is sending back automated "this is a violation of ToS" responses. Isn't the point of this system to have the tickets go right to CS instead of getting the bot first?

    So the minimum turn-around time is 48hrs. It could be a bit longer based on volume. This is to ensure our teams have enough time to get to everyone's requests without falling behind, as real people are going through these to execute the transaction.

    @ZOS_Kevin - given how laborious I would anticipate this manual process to be during peak periods (such as during new crate seasons) will this likely impact adjacent customer service sla’s for non-crate related issue that players might have with content, their accounts etc?

    I.e - my account glitches out and I get stuck in a wall in cyrodil (as regularly happens) but restarting the game, clearing saved data & all the usual initial response steps we receive have failed, so we require a manual intervention…will I have to wait a week+ or will the expectation remain that of a timely manner?

    Basically how does this work around impact existing customer service resources & by extension the customers engaging those services?

    Will they also facilitate crown sales? As in they will deduct the coin from the person you want to gift and give it to you? Or do you just have to hope the person is trustworthy as you wait for days?

    The program currently is specific to crown crate gifting. So sadly, no facilitating crown sales right now.

    But crown crate gifting is a major source of crown sales. I would estimate that 90% of the items I purchase from other palyers is crown crates. These are not separate things. There is a lot of overlap. Could you please pass on that information, as I'm very interested in that functionality as a crown buyer. This is the vast majority of my crown "gifts," and the way I have obtained many of my crate items.

    I would estimate that 0% of the items I purchase from other players is crown crates, and I have purchased roughly 250k crowns worth. By your logic, we should extrapolate my example to everyone. Just saying.

    I did not extrapolate my experience to everyone, so that's not my logic at all. "90% of the items I purchase" =/= "90% of the items others purchase."

    Everyone knows crown crates are a popular item in the crown store. And given this thread is about their gifting, it's reasonable to point out an area of the gifting program that is not being covered. I pointed out my personal experience to show how I'm personally impacted. I don't purchase much else from crown sellers. I have bought a house and some outfits iirc. But, mostly it's crown crates for me.

    I don't think they understand the request. Not sure who else to turn to, if you look at the ticket closer, you'll see what I mean. It seems like they're making alot of assumptions. Haven't heard back in several days and I have no idea who else to turn to for help with this matter.

    Lol, the solution almost sounds worse than the problem here... More work for ZoS, more frustration for us, and what's even being accomplished?

    Really curious to hear whether anyone has successfully completed a transaction with the new system?

    I do appreciate ZoS trying to come up with a workaround for us, but it's a little concerning that I have yet to hear about anyone actually getting a gift to go through. I think many of us are kind of waiting to see... and we're not hearing encouraging news so far. Hope the kinks get worked out.

    I had a guildmate that they did and had an easy time. I'm guessing that it depends on who sees it as there seems to be confusion among the cs team about the matter.

    Another ticket just got rejected with the same message that others here reported as well ("...we are unable to process your Crown Crate Gifting request due to it being a Violation of the Terms of Service.").

    What exactly is the violation? Trying to use this system that was presented as the momentarily "solution", that doesn't work?

    Two players in this thread have said that they had success with a ticket, those are the only people i've heard from for whom it worked so far.

    My status is this and I hope posting this doesn't come off as me breaking forum rules or coming about this sideways because I am genuinely looking to get this resolved, nothing more.

    Basically I asked for a total of Crowns to be sent to someone who actually happens to be a friend of mine. He also agreed to give me some in-game gold for them because he's a righteous dude. But what's weird is none of this was mentioned in the original ticket I just said we had an arrangement where I wanted to give him x amount of Crowns. This trigged the TOS message.

    And here we are. Now, normally I might close the ticket but there is an issue here. Why do they auto-assume I intend to break TOS because I had some arrangement to give my friend x amount of Crates? Like why does that even matter. How can they tell whether or not you know... They can't. So whoever looked at this ticket, just assumed I was breaking TOS which is a problem in and of itself.

    Secondly, I know this has been beaten to death but since Gina's post in 2018 they have been kind enough to permit us to receive gold for Crates. Is that no longer the case? They are welcome to check my account as I've never done any of the bad things that others did which got us into this mess. But eventually if Crown Crate gifting was to be restored my friend would have already had this crates and this would be a non-issue.

    So why make an issue out of it? Why assume so many of us intend to break TOS? That's not very nice to make customers abiding by the rules included in with the real problem. Which yes I know what that was but neither myself and many others have anything to do with those folks.

    just close the ticket and bomb them with tickets until it will be done
    there is good and bad support agents

    chances that your ticket will go to the bad agent is high

    Are you trying to gift crowns themselves or crates? You say two different things here.

    Gifting crowns is not within ToS. Gifting crown items - like crown crates - is within ToS, and this system is designed for facilitating gifts of crates specifically.

    ETA: If you said “crowns” to Support, they would need to deny you. Can you try clarifying that the request is for crates?
