EXTENDED CYRODIIL CAMPAIGN DUE TO U38 MONTHLY TIMER RESET

Players of the monthly campaign are affected by the U38 timer reset changes.
Because of the changes they are playing a very long campaign in a month where they really wanted transmute crystals to use on new gear and builds from Necrom.

Please ZOS I have some suggestions.

They should have announced back when the current one started that it would be shortened by several days to end on June 1rst but would give same rewards.

You're wasting your breath trying to get ZOS to be responsive to or respect the PvP player base.

U38 convinced me that ZOS genuinely is trying to whittle down the PvP player base as much as possible. Not only did they eliminate a 30 day campaign worth of rewards, but they also removed the faction health buff for gaining emp, removing one of the primary objectives in PvP. Then you combine this with absurdly low population caps that creates all kinds of faction balance issues and years long problems with the unaddressed low pop bonus issues that allows one faction to compete without even logging on, it all adds up to only one logical conclusion.

They won't even tell us if the removal of the faction health buff for achieving emp is a bug or intended. That's how accountable they consider themselves to be to the PvP player base.

How about doing 5 random normal Dungeons instead? Not that big of a deal and doesn't even take an hour with some buddies. It's also faster than waiting weeks for the same reward.

Because some people want to play PvP and not waste their time doing something they dont like ingame just to get transmute gems that they should already have gotten a week ago.
Also I and probably most people who are complaining got to the reward stage in PvP on considerably more than 1 char.

Because that would be five random dungeons on 33 characters for me - 33 hours of extra work?

Many (most?) people have multiple characters that they get Tier 1 Rewards for. So we are talking many hundreds of lost Transmutes (plus golden jewelry, which are one of the few sources of in-game gold from PvP'ing).

I've been doing Cyro a lot recently and my crystals are piling up on my characters since I'm maxed. Can't understand people can be desperate for them.

So i stacked my transm b4 necrom (jejejeje) so i was ready for the arcanist.

Still the silence after the "ya aint getting ya loot boys" is bringing sadness and hate to the community, and for the ones that maybe work on zeni and dont event wanna to find a solution = shame.

I'll get Necrom from sale and in any case only visit Cryo out of event to do endeavor cheese anyway. I never cared enough when campaigns start or end to find out. So at least now I know.

We just had the PVP event with double AP, people who don't normally bother got the tier 1 reward on multiple if not all there characters, with the intention of being able to make use of those transmute stones during the chapter release.

I got to tier 1 on 13 of my 18 characters could not be stuffed doing them all. That is 65 random dungeons to get the same amount of transmute stones not counting the extra stones from rewards of the worthy mails.

This also affects PVE players who tiered their characters during the event. I tiered 10 characters so that would be 50 daily random dungeons.
Especially with the NEW CLASS and new gear with the update we DESPERATELY need transmutes. 5 pieces of gear from the new set I want to use, plus 2 sets and monster set for my arcanist is 17x 50 transmutes is 850 transmutes. I’d have enough with the 500 end of campaign rewards.

I'm in the opposite camp right now, the campaign extension, when it comes to console next week, will actually give me more time to get my transmutes. I actually have zero crystals at the moment.

Yes, losing 800 transmutes (Tier 1 rewards on 16 characters) and millions in gold worth of gold jewelry without any explanation whatsoever is pretty insensitive. But not surprising.

Not to mention the players who were grinding hard for Emperor, but will now be gated by runaway Emps for 7 weeks. And some of us were going to grind IC in one Mayhem and Cyro in the other, but it's all tossed together in one campaign.

This is really dissapointing , or at least I should know this is ESO and its devs! Correct me if I am wrong, but I did not see any notice about the extension. So I leveled up all my chars beyond level 1 to get the crystals before necrom. My goal was to create new sets for the 2 slots of new class.

Yea we all know you can get transmute with Random dugeon, etc... But that is not the point.

This is really a disrespect to your player base. You change the game rules without even a notification. I try so hard to introduce ESO to new players and get them play. But this is getting harder every day...

I think PvP'ers should get as much as possible. I'm especially saddened to see how the endeavor timer reset was stickied but the PvP community received no special alert or consideration.

As for me personally, I have been around a long time and am not really hurting for gold, but I had used up my transmutes and was really counting on them for a few things I had planned, so I really only care about those. I still picked this poll option because I think the community deserves it, especially because it was rewards from campaigns during an event which surely is intended to entice people to try PvP. Not a good welcome at all.

I did about 9 characters.

The campaign will last about twice as long, it should award about twice as much.
And if this means people who did not participate on the first MyM will jump in on the second to take advantage, well... good, it is a PvP event, having more players around is a good thing.

Reset Timer Changes
Monthly Leaderboards, Cyrodiil and Tribute campaigns will now reset on the first of each month.
Cyrodiil Campaigns
Starting with this update and moving forward, each of the old 30-day Cyrodiil campaigns will default to resetting on the first of the month at the daily reset time.
As a one-time adjustment, any campaigns which would have reset sometime in June will instead reset on the first of July.

we were told about the change more than a month and a half before it happened.
i have not been expecting transmute crystals from cyrodiil campaign rewards earlier than july because of this and i doubt it will happen.

But it would be just adding insult to injury if they suddenly said on the last day before the end of the two month campaign, "Oh, by the way, we're doubling your rewards!" and all the people who just gave up out of disappointment could have had the chance to start grinding again... but were hit with the news out of the blue, when it was too late.

...you can get more than 1 uncracked per day, its just not guaranteed after the first one, but ive definitely gotten a half a dozen in 1 day easily before if i was pvping all day

Yeah I have a max extraction guy who completely empties his inventory, and his job is to clear the mailbox and open the hundreds of RFTW mails and Pelinal's boxes, deconstruct all the junk PvP sets, stack all the trash book furnishings, and store all the cold fire sieges that for some reason don't stack at full health. (I get why partially used siege doesn't stack... but there's no reason unused ones shouldn't be able to stack like camps, repair kits, etc.)

Tbh Zos does not care about your transmutes unless you pay for them, they aren't going to do anything. They want you doing the cardgame and daily dungeons etc. Besides if you were in cyro everyday youd get more than enough from rotw boxes, I have packmule toons for uncracked geodes.

Well, I will go after something else instead.

Here is the thing - the presence or absence of advance warning is completely irrelevant.
It does not change the fact that players are getting shorted on the effort they put on a campaign they played almost to completion, and it does not change the fact that having two mayhem events on the same campaign will prevent players from getting a full complement of rewards for both events, and that players who participate on the second event only will pretty much be prevented from getting a high place on the leaderboards.

PTS notes are for players participating on that server. Many players choose not to or are unable so why would they go look at the notes. Either way it was still a bad move to not consider a one time transition to new schedule so players don't miss out on the campaign rewards.

Absolutely. Make them cumulative. I know some are always talking about 'the right thing to do' on here well this is it. I am sure many of them will be on here shortly to voice concern for us not getting paid.

How long does it take most of you folks to get tier 1 on 18 toons? That's crazy to me. I run 1 toon during campaign lol
