It's not occasionally. It's every time you log off or change zones. They've posted they are working on the bug.

This is weird, I was in random dungeon instance, when i finished and exited the dungeon and got back to the zone, I noticed xp and food buff disappeared, then after a few seconds both buffs appeared again.

I have the same problem, my food, experience and mundus stone buffs have all disappered.

This was already happening on week1 pts and was reported, but as usual it ended up on live.

It seems that besides the food buff, the xp buff is removed as well when changing areas.

It's weird I've been running around, jumping zones, swapping characters and I've not lost any food, xp or mundus buffs on my new Arcanist but many of my friends have.

Although to be fair I haven't asked if they are playing with new characters, I've been specifically watching mine incase it happened too.

I've used three different types of food and 50% crown store xp scrolls(ones from daily login rewards) and atm the Thief Mundus, thought I'd say incase that has any bearing on it.

The xp buffs disappear from the window but it seems that the
server still knows I have an active buff as I can't use another scroll.

was about to post the same thing. decided to use my champion points but then it bugged out like i wanted to pay to respec. logged off and back in and noticed my buffs gone. FYI that fixed my bugged out champ points

Haven't had that happen so far. It wouldn't be an addon issue, would it? Ther was a problem with bookshelves that turned out to be an addon issue.

I have noticed the same thing on my new Arcanist character but it seems to me that it might be a UI bug. That is - I seem to lose the buffs on any and every load screen (zone, delve exit, Outlaw Refuge, etc.) as evidenced by status bars and visual queues. If I check my actual stats/attributes however, the max Health, Magicka, and Stamina numbers are what they should be for the character with the food/potion buff present.

I may not be explaining this well - I'm not that kind of doctor - but I think that maybe the only thing broken here is the visual representation of the buff and not the buff itself.

In a perfect world our ZOS overlords would chime in with something more thoughtful than, "we're working on it, bruh."

Same here. I reset all of my addons and it worked until I logged off again. When I logged back in, Food and Exp was gone. I did the reset the Addons trick and this time zilch. I must have gotten lucky.

Also, I tried my other chars, zoning in and out, but they work fine. Must be on newly created chars. Hope this is fixed soon. This really affects my gameplay and I might just have to wait until it's fixed before I play again. That would byte.

I had my food buff disappear. And my Archanist is using twice born star (which has 2 mundases) and lost ONE mundas.
I also observed that it looked like my xp buff was lost but it wouldn’t refresh it. It had damn well better not really lose the xp buff babe cause people will be using the 150% scrolls to level fast and they expensive.
Seems to be a frequent bug that should have been fixed before go live.

Ok so this is what is happening. I thought I was going out of my mind because when I used an XP scroll, it kept telling me that I could only have one consumable active at a time, and I clearly did not have one. But I guess what is happening is that I do have one active, but there is no indication anywhere that I do.

Interesting bug, not sure how it wasn't caught on the PTS

I'm fairly certain you don't lose the buff, you just lose the Active Effect buff notice. Even though my food buff seems to be removed, my max stats are still increased as if I had a food buff active. It's just hidden I think.

I heard it was caught on the PTS first week.

Not from an addon, as I don't use any addons and am getting it.

It seems to be just about every Active Effect-- food and drink buffs, mundus stones, boosts from XP scrolls, even my Sanies Lupinus infection that I've been living with for a few years now.

The only things I seem to see consistently are my XP boost from ESO Plus and my speed boost from the Alliance skill lines.

Sometimes I see my mundus stone and sometimes I don't.

I see my food buff right after eating but it disappears as soon as I relog or change zones.

Yesterday this bug constantly interfered. A lot of drinks and food were spent... Also, the increased experience from Crown Scrolls of Experience disappears, but the scroll cannot be reused. Writes that the buff is already active

I'm losing both xp scroll and food buffs when I hit a loading screen, also, the animation for the dual-mount dwarven spider now is nauseatingly jittery.

I've having this issue on old and new ALTs.
- Food runs out? But status still look okay
- Can't see Mundus stone

Also having the same issue with losing my food buff entirely whenever entering a load screen. My xp buff stays but the icon is missing, this isnt the case with the food buff though.
