[Bug] Daily Endeavor: Mine 8 Veins of Ore

I can't seem to complete the daily endeavor Mine 8 Veins of Ore. I mined 2 ore and got to 2/8, but no matter how many more I mine, it's stuck at 2/8. Am I missing something super obvious here or is it bugged?
