Would you pay more to get a completely solo ESO experience?

If you want a solo experience, play a single player game.

    Yes
    Up to a point, absolutely.

It will take some development time to shift the content to allow a solo version and not everyone would benefit so I would be fine with paying somewhat to get a thing that I want.

Absolutely yes. If i had an option that would allow me to play the multiplayer contents of ESO all by myself; including the dungeons, world bosses, trials/raids, even pvp, not only would i pay for it in a heartbeat, but also play them through that "single player option" exclusively.

Although not in a "Fallout 1st" kind of format, as in having a world just for myself, no. Same world, with all the players, except now i would have the ability to experience literally everything that ESO can possibly offer, all of it, by myself.

Being able to solo everything in ESO by myself, is the one thing i want more than anything else.

No. And playing solo isn't really the point of an MMO.

I'm here because it's an MMO. Why on earth would I pay more for solo? In fact, I would want a discount if a solo experience was made and it took people out of the populated game world I enjoy. :p

I don't think that a lot of the type of people who would want to play completely solo post on the forums...or even read the forums...or even know the forums exist.
As for the question, there is no shortage of solo player games. Wanting an mmo to cater even more to solo casuals (which I would argue is why the game has been trending downwards for a while) is not a wise move.
Not to mention...slap on some infallible aether, deadly strikes with lightning staff front bar, maelstrom lightning lightning back bar, ring of the pale order, 1 kragh. 6 light 1 medium. All bloodthirsty. Play a class that has a source of empower. Drop wall, caltrops, a few other dots, heavy attack and melt everything.
You can solo virtually all 4 man content with this set up. Watched a guy do vet scalecaller peak trifecta solo with this...in less than 30 minutes. Wild.
With stuff like that...no need to have people pay for a solo experience.
(There are tons of other set ups that can solo content, you aren't limited to lightning set ups).

I would for dungeons but not for trials, because dungeons have some story in them. It would also depend on the cost, of course.

Please stop with the requests to take the MMO part out of ESO.

It's just a veiled request to have PvP taken out of the game.

I love soloing dungeons, but I wouldn't pay for it. I just think normal dungeons at around the difficulty level of Falkreath Hold should be standard.

I think if they ever introduced that as a feature, they would just build that in as part of their quarterly base game updates, same as they did with justice, housing, and battlegrounds.

Hell to the no. This is an MMO. Also most dungeons can already be solo'd.

No. Already paid for it with my annual ESO+ sub not counting the crowns used to buy the dungeon DLCs but I am up for a solo version of all dungeons and trials. Will give me more reasons to continue playing and supporting the game.

Having an Elder Scrolls game while waiting for TES 6.

You literally have that right now in ESO or you can go back and replay all of the TES single player games right now with or without mods.

ESO is an MMO and MMOs have other people. ESO is however not a single player TES game and TES players need to accept that reality and it's been a recurring point of contention with the non-MMO crowd since 2014. I personally love TES games but requests like this border on being unreasonable not only because ESO will never be a single player TES game, but it also seems to confuse the devs and scatter their focus on an already neglected game (outside of the crown store).

No but they should let you be able to toggle off seeing people outside of group areas/towns.

Nothing ruins the experience quite like some rando ahead of you during a quest killing everything and making you wait for a respawn.
If you had the option to hide them, they'd still be speed running through the area killing everyone, you just wouldn't see them.

And no, I would not pay for a solo mode, because I believe that ability to do a story undisturbed is an accessibility feature and those should be free.

There is actually a newly released Single player and mod friendly TES RPG(which is also a mod but built with more love than all other TES games) that has more RP elements than all mainline TES combined with some strategy elements and life simulation/story generator that can easily hold people till TES VI and even more than that.
But most people won’t dig enough to find it.

This is an online game.. A completely solo experience almost doesnt make sense UNLESS by completly solo you mean dungeons and quests etc BUT ALSO no mail or trading of any kind IN or OUT from that character!! That might work!

It's not an either-or thing... ESO has proven itself to be a massive world where you can socialize, or not without having the Damoclean sword of raid or die over your head.

You have choices you are not held hostage by this or that "in" group, and while historically certain niche groups have called the shots in other games...that just doesn't happen here.

This is already the most expensive game I have ever participated in, further cost increases are absolutely out of the question (to me). $175 CAD per year for a subscription (taking into account a 20% annual sub discount) plus a full-priced $130 CAD expansion per year and at the end of all this there is a ton of stuff you can only buy in the store... This game already costs over $300 CAD per year to play (assuming you do not purchase crowns to buy things in the store), which is absurdly high as is.
