Heres a list in no particular order, with some changes I'd like to see. I guess you could call some of these quality of life changes but not all of them. This is all my opinion but I'd also like to hear yours. Maybe some of these will make it into the game.
Hotkey button to dismiss combat pets: I like how the devs have taken notice of the annoyance players have with SO many pets out, to the point they are adding in that setting to turn off seeing them. But for me (on console) I'd like the ability to just hot key a button to dismiss them. I try to dismiss them when I go to towns to be considerate, but it does get tiresome to go thru all the menus and cancel the pets. More often than not I end up also dismissing my food buff.
Eyes should have their own slot for cosmetics: Would be nice to have oracle eyes and a beard... or azure eyes with a psijic brand. Since so many custom eye-specific cosmetics have come out I'd like to see it get its own slot separate from head markings or facial hair.
Helms and Polymorphs for Followers: I like followers, I'd just like to see a little bit more customization. Like the pets - it gets kinda annoying to see somany of the same cat mage in a town. At least with certain helmets/hoods it could be less noticeable. Polymorphs would just be nice because then I could have a boneman follow my necromancer or a Zivkyn follow my sorc. I understand the follower has their own story to tell so it could be locked behind finishing their quest.
More interactions within the world: More specifically I meant like chairs at the Tavern, there so many chairs and I cant sit in any of them. But this could be expanded to other things, like high isle and the fact you could give a coin to see the npc dance. we could add in giving coins to beggers like in the main series of games, or if you want to really be adventureous brawling. Could also add stuff that I know exists in the game already like warming up to a fire.
Skins for combat Pets: I'm going to do what everyone else does and point to the warden bear and the fact he has 2 flavors, and say "I want that". Honestly even if its just the color of the daedric pets that changes I'd be happy. Having a scamp look like a deadlands scamp would be cool - but if you want to push it further, being able to customize it to a coldharbour looking scamp would be cool. The big ask would be to let me customize WHAT I summon, like a Dramora instead of a twilight.
More Artifact Styles: It's nice to see the Ebony blade or Mehrune's razor, but Could we add a few more? Dawnfang and Duskfang? (doesnt HAVE to change based on time) The staff of Magnus? Chillrend? Theres a bunch of unique weapons to pick from and they dont all have to be daedric artifacts. To expand this a but I wouldnt mind seeing some arms packs that maybe replicate the weapons from older games Fine Steel weapons or the old wooden staves from Oblivion or the silver weapons from Morrowind.
Hirelings as NPCs: These guys work for me but I can never see them. Would be nice if I could see them either in a specific town or even out on the road as a random encounter.
Start Connecting the Map: Theres some tiny spaces within the map that could be absorbed into a zone, connect the roads, and make it so you could travel between them on foot. You cant extend Southern Elsweyr to blackwood, or even connect it to nothern with a single road? What Chapter could you fit in the space between Wrothgar, Bangkorai, The Reach and Western Skyrim? Just fill the space with connecting roads and maybe some merchants.
Option to remove the metalic shine from dyes: Some of the rare colors are really nice - I'd love to use them, IF they didnt make robes look like plastic, or leather like rubber. Or when I try to match the exact colors of an NPC faction (like Psijics) and its either shine in plastic but have the right color, or have an off color but not shimmer.
Invisible staff motif: Where the "point" as placed down at the hand In order to mimic casting magic without a staff. If you want to be extra fancy you could alter the animation to an open palm.
Staff Size adjustment: Speaking about staves, some sit way too high up on the shoulder, or clip into the ground when holding (resto). Examples that come to mind, Nerien'eth staff is shorter than an average staff, so it sits higher on the shoulder and when held in resto position hovers above the ground. In contrast to this the Breton staff 4 is a longer staff, when held in resto position clips into the ground. Could we also adjust hand placement? This happens mostly with the original lower tier staves like breton staff 1, or barbaric staff 2 (your character is grabbing the spikes on this one) Just have them use the handle.
Update some older NPCs with new armor: So I LOVED it when the devs updated the Cyrodiil NPCs to use their faction armor rather than their racial armors to give them more of a uniform. Can We do that with the rest of the Map? The Soldiers who are enemy NPCs should also get the uniform. The Magisters in each mages guild guildhall could be outfitted with the nibanese court wizard outfit. or some of the maomer given any of the more recent maomer styled armorrs. In similar fashion (pun always intended) Maybe the Imperial battle mage NPCs (enemies and friendlies) could be given the battle mage costume, or some mages guild members the mages guild costumes. Just some more consistency.
"Why settle for just stabbing your foes when you can roast them alive in a gout of arcane fire?"
