Yep noticed this too. It seems to be ok with stuff in the field, but the animation is like a plant gathering animation for the blacksmith surveys.

How can they break something like this they are definitely using the alchemist animation, most probably won't be fixed for years!

Jewelry animations were fine, seems just the blacksmithing and woodworking they stuffed up, I have not tried enchanting yet though. [snip]
