Servant motif drop rate is a bad joke

Bought three pieces and got the rest through drops. The final one (shoes) came today.

Sammy prays to Stendar, Dibella, Nocturnal and anyone who’d listen to please improve drop rates at the next event.

Not sure how well my feathers-replace-style-drop-bug theory holds up, as the last four days I have only gotten two servant styles(one dupe). Still more than before, when I was combining the feathers with yellow plunder skulls. So I'm not sure.

But I had already bought the servant style pages I needed with tickets and from guild traders, as the droprate is very very very low. Much too low, making the event no fun at all.

4 days in a row with 0 style pages. I start questioning if it's even worth to farm 8 gold skulls every day.

Dropped down to just doing 1 skull a day for the tickets, have never bothered doing the Crow quest, so no feathers.

Got three pages out of 5 days/boxes. Total so far, 5 pages, 1 dupe.

My drop rates have been pretty bad. I've had 3 drop this entire event and I'd feel pretty bad about it but luckily I don't like the style that much.

I have all but the sash at this point. Got 3 dupes so obviously I have good luck this event. It's just for completion sake cause I'll never use em.

This has been a trend since the Zeal of Zenithar, more or less. The style pages have been slowly tuned down so we won't notice so easily (that last statement's a guess, take it with a grain of salt) and I absolutely hate it. Seems like the system I suggested back when I opened a similar thread but concerning the Oaken Order style pages is still relevant, so I'll post it again:

They would be capped at three daily pages.
1st, golden event box: Guaranteed bound style page you don't already own. If you've already completed it, you have instead a 50% chance to get any unbound event style page from the golden box.

Purple boxes: 50% chance of getting any unbound event style page. After that, you have a 10% chance of getting a third one so those interested in playing funny coin numbers would have to earn it.

I got 3 pieces so far but I'm not really liking the outfit that much. Just gonna wait until they drop in price in the traders, but yes, I did notice a small drop rate.

Polemic opinion: this motif (and many of latest event motifs) are pure horrible and garbage design, and I care less to got it. Didn't spend a simple ticket with it, and despite to get 3-4 pages I don't care to complete it.

Eh, I'm not enthused with it - but I suppose there are those who think it's fine. I don't have a clue how many of the pages I have over 3 accounts both PC NA and EU. I don't like it, so I don't really care.

I don't consider myself to be a completionist, but sometimes I catch that bug for a while.

I managed to collect all of the new pages on my alt server, and most of them on my main server, so I bought the rest with gold a few days ago before the prices skyrocket.

Then I bought a grab bag because apparently I don't have all of the old stuff, but I didn't know what to expect from them.

The first one contained a fragment for the throwing bones memento. I had a few in my bank from a past event, so I decided to buy the rest that I needed with gold. It was a bit pricier than I'd have preferred, but I bit the bullet.

The second one contained a fragment for the skeletal marionette. I didn't have a single one of those, so I started shopping for them at the traders. They were ridiculously expensive (IMHO). Now I'm essentially broke, but I still need 3 of those fragments and I can't even afford to buy 1 at the asking prices.

I've no idea what else might be in the grab bag besides fragments for those two mementos. I saw old event announcements for years past that mentioned masks, but I haven't checked to see if I already have any of those.

there's also fragments for an apple-bobbing caldron memento, and all the different Halloween Masks-which is what I want, but with my RNG I'll get frags for the marionenette, or apple-bobber, since I don't have those-which imo is a waste of tickets for a memento I'm never going to use, so I bought the Thicketman Spectre Mask at a trader to tide me over-the most expensive Mask seems to be the Hollowjack Spectre.
(I also want that Pure-Snow Indrik too!, have 3 of the 4 feathers)

Back to the topic at hand, glad I bought what pages I needed a few days ago, I never would have gotten them all, and the prices seem to have sky rocketed since then... I was only concerned with my main acct getting them, my other children have the odd piece here, and there.

This one disagrees with your statement because it is not a fair representation.

There have been players who posted their experiences of not getting enough drops for the style page, and that is different from the need to having to complete a collection.

Few days ago I bought one grab bag to get rid of extra tickets and got a something bonfire memento from it. Can't buy moar because apparently I have every thing in it now.

basically me right there lol

but im also smart about how i go about it, like how much is it really worth to do right now, and efficient use of tickets

i used event tickets for the hourglass fragment first, and then as i started getting to 10-12 tickets i spent them on the style pages as i had nothing else to get from the event (and being only 5 ticket each i got the last 3 i needed from there) and still ending the event with at least 11 tickets lol

I stopped bothering after a couple of days. I do just the one for the tickets. Drop rate is bad and what you do get really isn't worth the effort.
