Servant motif drop rate is a bad joke

Till now I've opened 28 golden skull and got the total amount of ONE servant motif.
But I've got so many of the other older motifs that arte totally useless.

I want to ask ZoS, is this ok for you?
Are you so desperate to sell event tickets from crow store?
This is meant to be an event where people enjoy things and not where people get angry [snip]

For me it's 24 gold skulls and 0 motifs so far. Didn't open the skulls today, so it can end up with 32 skulls and 0 motifs score.

edit - got my first Servant style page in 28th box, just like you. Great drop rate, thanks ZOS

It's bad. I keep getting stuff like Gravedancer and Dremora if I get anything of note at all. Shouldn't you lot be pushing the newer motif pages over the old?

So 29 total not sure how some of you guys have opened over 29.

Either way, I've opened all 29 and have gotten ONE of the new motif...the loot table is currently too diluted with the other 2 styles and dremora. Only have the new memento because a friend had an extra and gave it to me.

You definitely should consider moving to a box with the old styles and stuff in it, like you've done for a few of the other older events.

Just to answer this question, you can open 8 boxes every day. You might be missing Trials or Arenas.

Opened 7 boxes each day so far(excluding trial), and got three style pages. Fourth day I didn't get anything. But I may just have been extremely lucky in the first few days. So to me the droprate seems fine so far.

PS: For those unsure, the 8 daily dremora boxes are:
-Delve
-World boss
-World event(dolmen, harrowstorm, etc)
-Public dungeon
-Group dungeon
-Arena
-Trial
-Crow box(for completing the quest each day)

So the Crowborne quest also grants a gold skull on first-run?

I saw a thread yesterday that said you get three purple skulls for that quest (I'm assuming they were talking about after you've received the daily gold skull). Is that true at all? Or is it the normal one purple skull, like the rest of the bosses?

@Grizzbeorn Because that thread was necroed and was from last year. They have made changes and this year you get a gold box from completing the crow daily.

Yup, it seems even worse than Oaken was. At least Oaken could drop from the purple loot boxes. All mine are just worms and trash.

Same issue. 0-21. The loot tables so polluted with old junk it’s a waste of time.

It's ZOS marketing strategy:

1. Make new drops are so extremely low that you use tickets to buy it.

2. Not enough tickets then buy up the tickets you need in the crown store.

I got 2 pieces, then decided to purchase the rest if I found them at reasonable prices.
The hat, which is what I truly wanted, I paid the most for-25K, the shoulders I paid the least-100 gold. I want to wear this now, not after Halloween!

IIRC, I got 1 new style page on each server on the first day, followed by none on subsequent days-- until last night, when I finally got 1 more on the PC EU server. I'm hoping I'll get 1 more today on the PC NA server to even things out, but so far (after opening 4 gold coffers) nothing, just more of the older pages.

I may end up having to spend gold to buy some of them from guild traders and zone sellers. Oh, well. I don't even use the Outfitting system, so I'm not sure why I always try to collect all of the event style pages. /shrug

I do agree that the dremora motifs should be retired and the witchpages or a new one should drop in greater amount right now.

Would be nice to see the servants stylepages to drop instead of dremora motifs, yeah it would lead to price crashing right now but it would go up in value over the year.

I wouldn't say that the Dremora pages should be retired, as that would be a problem for newer players who haven't collected them yet. IIRC, last year there was an outcry because of the Dremora pages no longer dropping and only being available from the grab bag, or something like that; I'd have to read back through last year's posts to refresh my memory. I think the Dremora drop rate this year might be a(n over)correction in response to last year's outcry.

I think the outcry last year was over Hollowjack Motifs, actually that might even have been 2yrs ago! Dremora definitely dropped same as usual last year.

The reason for the outcry at the Hollowjack is because that motif is required in to get the achievement that allows you to purchase the Witch cottage house for gold, so it's a big deal.

The Dremora motifs aren't required though, and I thought for sure they would move the Dremora to grab bags this year, but alas...

You're right, and I came back to correct my earlier comment because I just did a Witches Writ, got a Witches Gift, and saw that it had a Hollowjack page in it, which jolted my memory.

I believe so yes. Only from gold ones and one Servant style page a day as is ZOS modus operandi nowadays.

So if I get one and still got gold boxes left I don't open them until the next day.

The style pages are dropping for somebody... there are currently 685 listed on the Tamriel Trade Centre website for PC-NA.

I've gotten 2 pages thus far and have purchased the rest on guild traders at reasonable prices. I figured it would be easier to just buy them up and not get frustrated over yet another low drop rate for event items. I'm giving away most of the other drops or just straight up deleting them if nobody wants them.

Man I'm having fun with it. I've been 8 a day farming. Got almost all of it. Only missing two pieces and I havnt bought any. I'll buy right before the event ends if I don't think I'll get it.

Although it would be nice if the drop rates are higher, and three tickets are given instead of two.
