What are your overall thoughts on the event? Did it meet your expectations?
I thought it was boring. I think I participated two days total out of the event as it did not feel worth it.

What did you like about the Heroes of High Isle event?
Double drops on vDSR and daily quests. Not having tickets split into multiple activities.

Is there anything you would like to see improved about the Heroes of High Isle event?
Others have mentioned an actual progress bar with numbers- that seems like a good idea. There was nothing to spend tickets on- this would have been a good time to offer past stuff. The drop rate for the style page was painfully awful. Also most folks don't care about trash treasure- go for things like furnishings or materials at least.

What are your thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?
Despised them. Makes eso+ subscribers feel cheated. I think most people enjoyed the antiquarian house and grand psijic- I recall being STOKED for those. If a DLC is being offered for free for all, then offer something extra to those who pay $15 a month. hell, that's already an expensive price for a basically necessary craft bag (should be base game and include furnishings), the ability to dye costumes (should be base game), and access to DLC content. The boxes themselves- I disliked that everything was bound. Destroyed the companion gear as it is not needed and could not be sold. Didn't care about the pet. Statue was okay.

Any additional comments regarding the Heroes of High Isle event?
I don't think a lot of people even realized a major event was going on because the hype felt so incredibly low. There's got to be a better way to notify players of a community wide event (unless there was and I was just not at all excited so I didn't notice).

    Positives:
    - A nice straightforward event.
    - I love non-DLC WBs but generally ignore DLC WBs since I can't solo them. This event drew together plenty of players to the (for me) non soloable events of volcanoes and WBs. Generally drawing lots of players together is a bad thing (kill three bosses in an Auridon public dungeon) but for DLC world events and bosses, it works okay.

    Negative:
It is difficult on the maps to find where your quests targets are since if you are on one island and your quest is on the other it shows you to a silly boat or such to get to the other island - not where your quest actually is. This should be fixed or add wording as to a more precise location for all dailies (I need to go to XYZ delve located in northen Amenos). Some of the dailies do this and it is very helpful; others do not.

the bolded part honestly has been a problem since at least solitude in western skyrim
    • the daily in western skyrim point to the door leading into/out of the town
    • the daily in the reach possibly do the same thing, dont fully remember cause its been awhile lol
    • the dailies in leyawiin in blackwood do the same thing
    • and now the dailies in high isle do the same thing but with amenos instead of the town

What are your overall thoughts on the event? Did it meet your expectations?
Most of the event was like any other tbh. Not super engaging or anything. It's in line with most other events.

What did you like about the Heroes of High Isle event?
I am a great fan of community events. That was nice to see again! But please do NOT do a community event every single time there is an event.
And please think about including people who do not own the chapter.

Is there anything you would like to see improved about the Heroes of High Isle event?
3 instead of 2 tickets a day maybe?
We seriously need longer breaks between events... It feels like there is one event after the other without room to breath and enjoy the game, do some actual questing and stuff, because you are busy running after those event rewards. From what I hear people are getting burnt out by events...

What are you thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?
2 tickets a day was so low that I skipped some days. I'm not asking for huge amounts, but with 3 you could actually get a decent amount of those quarterly collectibles.
Other than that is was okayish, I guess?
Double resource node drops would be a nice standard addition for many, I suppose.

Any additional comments regarding the Heroes of High Isle event?
Due to the group size limit having been to 12 down from 24 months ago going for a nice social guild event was close to impossible. Splitting up groups creates independent conversations and interactions which is awful. Yes, I'll bring that up again and again, because it is a bummer for social activities :frowning:

What are your overall thoughts on the event? Did it meet your expectations?

It met Sammy’s expectations by half. This one will elaborate in the following sections.

What did you like about the Heroes of High Isle event?

The double resource node, gold companion jewellery, and High Isle being well populated with players.

Is there anything you would like to see improved about the Heroes of High Isle event?

The indicator for quests are difficult to see, and often gets buried under the map icon itself. If the little quest circle is made bigger, or in a brighter colour (eg yellow), that would be helpful.

Purple reward boxes contained far more interesting loot than the once a day gold boxes. Given the rarity of the latter, shouldn’t gold boxes contain better quality goods? There is a weird RNG at work.

Some of the survey locations from the event starter quest are fiendishly hard to survey. This one recalls a fishing spot where Sammy fell into the water several times before he can study it. How the notepad remains dry and writable is a mystery.

What are you thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?

As an ESO+ customer, this one is disappointed with the free DLC gift. This was taken up in a thread when the reward was announced, ZOS promised to consider and give feedback, and yet here we are, giving yet another feedback with no response in sight. It is bad faith to keep asking for feedback if you 1) don’t acknowledge and address; 2) keep doing the same old thing that people complain about.

Overall, the event met Sammy’s expectations by half.

Any additional comments regarding the Heroes of High Isle event?

The additional explorers event is a nice way to continue with the celebration. Sammy likes events, so bring on the witches festival soon!!!!

What are your overall thoughts on the event? Did it meet your expectations?
Was fun, I took the time to take 6 characters through the entire High Isle to complete it for 100%(minus ToT and lorebooks). But I do feel the zone is too small for events like this.
So the regular zone event did meet my expectations, but the community-event did not. The community event was just stupid due to AwA.

What did you like about the Heroes of High Isle event?
It allowed me to take many characters through the zone, while getting bonus loot. And I love harvesting bonus loot and bonus harvesting materials. I also love that the zone is populated enough to do world bosses and world events, which after this event will be too few probably. This is why easy dolmens and easy world bosses are best, for when there is noone else around(please retune High Isle bosses and vents).

Is there anything you would like to see improved about the Heroes of High Isle event?
-When there is a zone event, the event should cross over to every zone. The double nodes should be game-wide(maybe exclude craglorn and other special zones), but the coffers stay zone specific(like they were). This would prevent the zone from being overpopulated, and being in other player's way too much.
-Another thing I'd like to see during events, is when you kill a world boss or do a volcanic vent without a daily quest active, you should get two purple coffers during events. To compensate for those sharing the daily quests. With the daily quest active only one purple event coffer drops.
-Reduce the number of treasures in event coffers, those are just an inventory annoyance at this point. Only pure gold, and/or purple and higher quality treasures should drop from those. (all other loot is fine)
-You guys need to come up with a new type of community event, and not killing world bosses or doing vents(or similar world events). Maybe have us fill the community bar, by the amount of purple event coffers opened during the event. Or something else entirely.
-There are too few monsters and they are too spread out in the overland world of High Isle, to be any serious source of purple coffers for anyone.
-Quest specific special monsters and quest containers could not drop event coffers, but they did reset the droptimer for event coffers if you happened to 'get' one from those. This caused my highest dryspill of event coffers to be an hour. As I was always questing. This should not happen.
-The event specific style pages should not have a cooldown timer on them. Maybe guarantee a drop from the golden coffer, and have a ramping up drop-percentage for those stylepages in purple coffers. Starting with a 1% dropchance, and increasing by 1% for every coffer opened afterwards. Resetting to 1% again when a style page drops. This way it makes sense to actually play during an event, and to play more during an event. Instead of just logging in to get the event style page, and logging off again. Events themselves are already timelimited, so their eventstyle drops should not be restricted with a timer as well.

What are you thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?
Loved all the rewards, as I love harvesting material bonusses. And I also loved the community reward boxes, though I was missing the attunable jewelry station from them. Loved the companion gear, of any quality. Emotes and markings are not for me, and I feel the DLC should immediately be a digital CE when the player has ESO+ active. As the digital CE is just as expensive without the DLC unlocked as with(like it was with the previous event unlocked DLC). Which makes buying the CE afterwards feel punishing. This would also give players another reason to subscribe to ESO+.
And for the love of god, massively increase our inventory sizes or don't drop any treasures below purple quality.

The following explorer's event is just awesome, but due to event fatigue it would be better to have two offdays between them. The High Isle event ended on tuesday, the explorer's event shouldn't have started until the following thursday. But that is just my opinion.

Any additional comments regarding the Heroes of High Isle event?
There was a bonus pet only for ESO+ players, but there was never any mention on when the ESO+ had to be active to receive it. When was the measuring point for this? If someone's ESO+ expired one day before the reward was given, do they still get the pet or not. If someone didn't have ESO+, but bought it halfway during the event, do they get the pet. This should be described in much more detail.

What are your overall thoughts on the event? Did it meet your expectations?

I enjoyed the event. It met most of my expectations, and even exceeded them in some ways.

In particular, based on similar prior zone-related events, I had expected to find some purple coffers from harvesting nodes of pure water, but I didn't find any. On the other hand, I did find purple coffers from looting the corpses of overland animals and other enemies, which I don't remember being the case during prior events. I don't know if nodes of pure water and water skins were actually left out or if it was just my RNG luck, but if it was an intended change then it seems like a reasonable one.

I had also thought that perhaps the daily Tales of Tribute challenges might give an event coffer when turned in, but I was not unduly disappointed to discover that they did not. There were plenty of other ways to obtain purple coffers within the zone, and technically the daily ToT challenges mostly take place outside of the zone.

What did you like about the Heroes of High Isle event?

I enjoyed getting double reward coffers for the daily job quests, plus the event coffers. As has been the case during similar prior events, I was able to complete my gear sets stickerbook for the zone by the event's end, even though I did only one of each type of daily job rather than grinding them each day by asking other players to share their quests with me. It's nice to be able to complete my stickerbook without having to grind for it.

Is there anything you would like to see improved about the Heroes of High Isle event?

Speaking for myself, I can't think of anything specific that I'd like to see changed with the overall formula for these types of zone-related events, but see below.

What are you thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?

I enjoyed getting motif pages, plans, blueprints, recipes, furnishings, and style mats in the event coffers. Some players have commented that there didn't seem to be anything special about the single daily golden coffer versus the purple coffers, and in general I agree with that observation. I did receive an outfit style page from a few of my golden coffers, but the RNG for them did not seem much better for the golden coffer than for the purple coffers. On the other hand, I did receive most of my style pages from purple coffers, and was able to collect all of the pages by the end of the event, with only one page being bought with event tickets, so I think it was good that the pages were dropping from purple coffers in addition to the golden coffer, and the drop rate seemed more or less perfect-- subject to RNG, of course-- as long as players were taking the time to harvest resource nodes, kill overland enemies, grind volcanic vents, or were farming purple coffers by other means.

Any additional comments regarding the Heroes of High Isle event?

I like that these zone-related events encourage and reward players to thoroughly explore a zone as far as discovering all of its scenic locations, completing all of its delves, fighting all of its world bosses, and shutting down its world incursions at all of the different possible sites.

In years past, certain zone-related events required that players complete a certain portion of the zone's questline before they could start doing the zone's daily jobs. I'm trying to work through the zones in order, and I avoid doing any actual questing in a zone before I've completed all of the preceding zones, so I like that it was possible to participate in this event without being forced to do any of its zone quests "out of order" unless I wanted to.

I ran most of the event with a friend who has poor internet and he struggled to stay connected, especially at Vents. With the number of players, their companions and quite often pets, he was getting serious lag and DC'd at nearly every vent we tried to close.

This could have been solved by having multiple vents spawning at the same time to spread out the players a bit more, or maybe having multiple instances of High Isle running. The latter may have been case but simply not visible to us.

I know you are coming up with changes regarding switching off seeing other's pets (and maybe companions) but I have no idea if this will help people with slower internet when it comes to events like these. I really hope so.

What are your overall thoughts on the event? Did it meet your expectations?
The event was a lot of fun. I think that Normal Dreadsail Reef is a fun trial and I was able to farm myself up some Whorl of Depths gear. I also enjoyed doing the dailies and the structural items for High Isle are really beautiful. I was highly disappointed that Tales of Tribute was not included in any way. As a big fan of ToT (some sessions I play more Tales than the rest of the game!) I would have liked to be able to feel a connection the celebration beyond doing daily quests. As somenoe who hasn't done the main or side quests yet in High Isle, I didn't feel that connection that I wish I did. It as just a list of chores. Having rewards tied to ALL of the new activities of a chapter would give us more variety and give more ways for us to connect to the event in the way that we played. This event mostly met my expectations.

What did you like about the Heroes of High Isle event?
I loved that the way to get the purple boxes were unique and varied. I loved the furnishings inclusion in the boxes. And I absolutely ADORED that High Isle Maps were included. I actually got some Ancestral Breton motifs because of this event, which I was not expecting. I'm sure there are others that people who target farmed and purchased the maps were actually able to complete the motif. This is such a good way to give us a chance to target farm zone maps and I hope to see more stuff like that in the future.

Is there anything you would like to see improved about the Heroes of High Isle event?
Include Tales of Tribute and any other future chapter major features in their respective events.

What are your thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?
I personally liked all of the rewards and felt they were mostly appropriate. As a plus subscriber I was mildly uncomfortable getting a bonus reward. It felt a bit tacky. I don't want to complain about free stuff and I certainly enjoyed it, but it felt off. The gold boxes should have something nice guaranteed because they can't be farmed, and it feels really anti-climactic that the purple boxes gave me the majority of the nice rewards.

Any additional comments regarding the Heroes of High Isle event?
The best chapter event since Summerset, IMO.

Unfortunately event fulfilled my expectations of dailies with small bonus. To be positive little to no participation pressure because this years Impressario grindables. Maxed Isobels rappart and collected the style. Bought bound pages with tickets and sold pile of dropped duplicates for bunch of gold. Have to admit I have not bothered to check how it actually looks. As usual. I have plenty of furnishings &cet which I have not sorted out yet.
I feel anything called an event should involve something unique beyond bonus from doing the same stuff as usual and grind for tickets. Little bit of activity.

What are your overall thoughts on the event? Did it meet your expectations?
It was the same as many of the other of these type of events. It was fine for the first few days but soon became a chore I had to do. Making players use the High Isle companions to receive companion gear from reward boxes felt unnecessary and manipulative - and in the end the companion rewards recieved from doing this were often worse than what could be gained from normal mobs overland.

What did you like about the Heroes of High Isle event?
Having just bought a big new empty Breton house, I appeciated the furniture drop rate from the reward boxes. Though after a few days I had way more bookcases and tables than I needed - there needed to be a bigger selection in the loot table.

Is there anything you would like to see improved about the Heroes of High Isle event?
Just let players use their own companions for events like this. Having to unlock the new companions (to get companion gear from boxes) on characters that hadn't started HI yet was an annoying inconvience because of the length of the HI companion quests. Realising half way through the event that the companion gear that dropped from reward boxes was low quality anyway was just the icing on the cake.

What are your thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?
The gold companion ring was interesting and the statue was quite nice. I was very 'meh' about the pet for ESO+ players, it felt a little cheap, as players are innudated with pet reskins for everything these days. I have hoards of the things I never use.

Any additional comments regarding the Heroes of High Isle event?
Events such as this need some sort of shake up, they're very grindy at times and not very fun. It made me spend more time in High Isle as I had not returned after finishing the zone, but the experience just reinforced my feelings about the expansion and its companions. Some of the rewards we nice but it felt like the event could have been better.

I didn't do the event as I didn't own the Chapter. Instead, I just checked the meter occasionally, and once we "won" the Firesong DLC, did the math and figured it was pretty cost-effective to buy High Isle + Firesong for about $20.

So, yes, your grand event reward was effective in getting me to buy the Chapter on sale, rather than waiting until it's time to pre-order next year's Chapter.

However, there's a catch. I'm now a lot more likely to not pre-order next year's Chapter, but rather to wait until the fall to see if we get the Q4 DLC for free to go along with it. And honestly, if the Chapter's added feature is as lackluster as Tales of Tribute, that's exactly what I'll be doing.

What are your overall thoughts on the event? Did it meet your expectations?
It didn't meet my expectations. For context I have played through the Lost treasure of skyrim community event and the original Summerfall community event. Those 2 event instilled high expectations for the heroes of high isle event. It was a huge disappointment. But this was just to explain why my expectations were set to the level they were. This event made it feel like any further event going forward may follow this lack of rewards for new chapters and that's a concerning thought.

What did you like about the Heroes of High Isle event?
I mean our guild mates got together, shared quest, and completed content together but after 2 days everyone was burnt out. However I did like the fact that the resource node dropped boxes fairly often for me. This made farming the boxes easier. Also I did complete the steadfast style. So these are definitely an upside.

And the furniture. I can say that you guys did amazing. This was the only reason I personally kept grinding the event even when everyone decided to quit it.

Is there anything you would like to see improved about the Heroes of High Isle event?
As for future improvements, definitely different rewards. Which I will go into further explanation in the next question. The introduction quest was confusing at first because the small white circles were hard to see on the map (because I didn't know what I was looking for to begin with). The different environment of the areas was a neat touch (fishing hole may have crabs or dead bodies) depending on your character. However after doing the introduction quest I felt cheated like I wasted my time. I mean I could harvest a ore and possibly get a box before completing that introduction quest. It also didn't serve any added emersion into the story, and felt like a Skyrim fetch quest. If it was kept at the tasting and prepping the dishes maybe it would have been more fun.

What are your thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?
Honestly you guys just had bad timing for the event. The reason why I say this is because there was only 1 motif released. If you used this event to release the other style and locked it down to the vent daily you could have reduced the amount that was released to the players but still give another incentive for players to continue to come back to the event everyday (since you can only do 2 vent quest a day).

The impresario I have ignored for this whole quarter since I don't want the Breton armor however that may not be the case in the future. The rewards from high isle is lack luster, maybe bring back the pet fragments like you did with the murkmire event. Overall the rewards felt like someone was dumping their inventory on us because they didn't have a craft bag for space.

Lastly, the only one style page a day is really annoying. The issue is some people have really bad RNG. My husband grinded the event with the guild daily only to walk away with 3 pages he pulled himself. I know that having an event that releases multiple style pages have been a big issue in the past however it may be worth looking increasing the drop rates for players to get style pages again with the first gold box.

Any additional comments regarding the Heroes of High Isle event?

Overall this community event was ok. It felt like a regular daily quest grind (which in technically it was since it told the community which daily quest to focus on). However that is also a problem because it's a celebration, an event. It didn't inspire motivated or excitement in a lot of the community. Hopefully in the future you don't continue to provide mediocre rewards to a player base that constantly wants to support and see this game grow with new players. I am sure a house or crown crates or two person mount would be incentive for players to purchase a chapter dlc to do these community events with us.

The various world boss bugs made me quickly give up on those. Waiting 45 minutes for a spawn was not fun. Not getting quest credit when the bosses did spawn was bad too.

My dislike for Ember took away my motivation for delve dailies, but that's just me.

The vent dailies were fine, up to the limitations of the oh-so-repetitive vents.

I now wait to pick up the "other stuff" in the WB quests and didn't have a single credit failure this time.

That new "show where the quest is" function is lousy. I want to know where it is, not the next door to get towards it. I found I had to beam to one island, check, and possibly beam to the other island. Not a good requirement.

The WBs there will now largely be ignored, which shows that making them impossible for many/most of us to solo is not the way to go. Great during the event, but bad now.

Great during the event, but bad now.

to be honest the WBs there werent heavily farmed even when high isle first came out, there were many times i was fighting those WBs solo even day of release (if they werent a bugged spawn)

What are your overall thoughts on the event? Did it meet your expectations?

Interesting question about expectations because whether "yes" or "no" is good or bad really depends on whether we had high or low expectations. A "yes" if we had low expectations for an un-fun event is NOT a good answer.

Anyway, overall I was happy with the event. That is a good thing.

It met my expectations in that, after a few of these, I knew the formula and expected something similar to prior years. And THAT is OK, or maybe slightly less great because it would be better if I was happily surprised by something I DIDN'T expect. However generally I'm not complaining because I was happy with some of the changes I saw from last year, formulaic though they may be.

What did you like about the Heroes of High Isle event?
    • I really really liked the "one and done" for acquiring tickets. Not all of us have the luxury of being able to log in every day, and as a result it can be frustrating to miss out. The fact that I could pick up three repeatable quests and, if I was in a hurry, just do the absolute fastest one to get my tickets was fantastic. If I had time, I did more to get more boxes, but there is no incentive you can give me to find time when I don't have time, so it's much nicer to make the tickets easy to obtain with many options. Thank you!!!!!!
    • I was happy that you listened to the feedback about giving something to subscribers for the final stage. Thank you!! I personally don't mind that you give away the DLC even though I am a subscriber.
    • I liked that what we had to do for the event also aligned with gaining reputation for the High Isle companions, so that I had multiple benefits from doing the activities.

Is there anything you would like to see improved about the Heroes of High Isle event?
    • The drop rate for the outfit pages seemed low. There has to be a happy medium in there somewhere.

What are your thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?

I was happy with it. Honestly my biggest issue is all the complaining... it's a bummer. I'd like it if you could figure out how to give rewards that irritate almost no one just so that I can have a positive experience and smile that everyone else is having a positive experience too.

Also I think it's a little bit unfair that people are complaining about "no house." Not everyone is into housing. I think if you rotate, sometimes a mount, sometimes a house, sometimes a pet, sometimes a skin, sometimes a personality... etc..... that helps.

Any additional comments regarding the Heroes of High Isle event?

My primary issues with the event are issues that have to do with ALL events of this type.
    • I think it's pretty crummy that the rewards for participating are in the Crown Store for only a limited time. I missed claiming the rewards for the year where you switched from mail to Crown Store claiming, and when I realized it, in my support ticket I was told no I can't still get my rewards. This has made me very stressed during subsequent events that I'm going to miss claiming the reward in the Crown Store because I might get busy and not be able to play, even if I played during the event.

It's a REWARD. It should not be stressful. You should have metadata on all accounts and if they are active and playing during the event they should always be able to claim the rewards. It's not like a real life physical reward where you can "run out." Yes, you might lose one or two sales later where someone might buy the house or pet or DLC or whatever because they missed claiming the reward but that's nothing compared the goodwill you'll keep from ensuring that rewards earned are always available. I'm still upset that I missed my Lost Treasure of Skyrim rewards. And it was such bad customer service to be told no, I couldn't get them after the fact.

    • Along those lines, I truly feel the time for event ticket caps has passed. It's another way that makes something that's supposed to be fun just stressful. I have to remember to buy something when I'm at cap and not accidentally do the thing that gives me more tickets for that day first. If I have purchased everything I need from the vendor for the current event and I'm capped at tickets I have less incentive to continue to participate. If I know I"ll be busy during a current event all I can do is watch it pass me by because I can't save tickets from a previous event for what's coming up later that I know I'll want. It's all a way to force participation and possibly squeeze out a few sales of event tickets in the Crown Store, but in the end what it does is take away the FUN from an event that's supposed to bring the community together and help us re-discover and enjoy another area or whatever the event's focus is. Yes, eventually some people will have a bunch of tickets... but those are the people who can play every day and aren't really affected by the cap anyway.

    • Last and certainly least, as far as event-related feedback... please give us more bank and bag space. Sometimes I literally don't want to participate in the event because I don't have space for the stuff. I don't think I've opened my cascading box from last year's event, and I certainly have no space to deal with opening this year's. I feel that space is a HUGE challenge for people who play support, and the inventory mini-game is just getting old. Yes maybe all DPS have one BIS gear setup now, but we also now have companion gear, gear from our different Armory builds, and just so much STUFF that literally the rewards from an event can be a turn-off. I get that, in a way, it's kind of a silly complaint... but this is a feedback thread and it's a legitimate reason (for me) why sometimes the event just doesn't seem to be worth the trouble. Space can't and shouldn't be unlimited but let us buy a few more upgrades to our bags and banks, please!

[*] What are your overall thoughts on the event? Did it meet your expectations?
I had fun, actually. It was a great opportunity to get those world bosses done with the help of other players. The rewards were good, got some great furnishings. I mostly got boxes from resource nodes. So, there aren't as many resource nodes as some other zones, so I got less boxes overall than in other events.
[*] What did you like about the Heroes of High Isle event?
The camaraderie of lots of players grouping up and battling monsters. I liked the purple furnishing rewards.
[*] Is there anything you would like to see improved about the Heroes of High Isle event?
Yeah having to remember to have Ember or Isobel out for the golden box was annoying. The event quest was really long because I didn't have any waypoints in the zone. And then I had to do one of the companion quests before I could even start the event.
[*] What are your thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?
Good rewards, I was satisfied with the effort vs reward ratio. The rewards boxes at the end of the event were awesome! Love the golden quickened ring.
[*] Any additional comments regarding the Heroes of High Isle event?
The daily coffers (which had nothing to do with the event itself) for that zone were lacking...disappointing actually. I often got 1 blue piece of gear. Pretty lame. The volcanic vents are exactly the same except for the final boss. The druid was too loud and super repetitive after only a few vents. So that was annoying. Also, the cache is hard to find. One guy in my guild group didn't even know there was a cache and we did a bunch of vents and he got no rewards. Also the salamander wasn't included in the boxes but had to navigate the crown store to even know it was there to claim. I am sure ppl missed out on the pet because of this.

What are your thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?
I did not like that 3 writs and 4 zircon platings from the reward chests were bound.
I would liked to have sold the writs, I had to destroy them (I dont want to use perfect roe for writs) so it was not really a reward, and I don't want bound mats. They make no sense.

I enjoyed the event a lot. It was great getting furniture plans, furniture and especially paintings in the boxes.

What are your thoughts on the rewards for the Heroes of High Isle event this year?

As an ESO plus subscriber I was disappointed that the DLC was again the main reward.

Do like these events. Yes, know they are same each year, but still like them.

Furniture as drop was brilliant. Good idea.

Gold boxes needed to be much better - they were rather shoddy.

Gold motifs should have a much better drop rate (more than this, but less than ones in the past such as Thorn/Sahan etc ones)

Extra drops at nodes always welcomed.

Agree with the post above about style materials & how Elsweyr got the balance right.
