Certain fun treasure items

So there seems to have been a new treasure item released with this event. "Erotica for Werewolves." ZoS. . . all I gotta say is where in Oblivion is mine?! Been farming for nothing but that during the event. I must have opened hundreds of boxes and went thieving around high isle for good measure. There is a sincere worry that I simply won't get one.

Friends I am a collector of interesting and fun treasure type items and this would make the collection. Anyone got advice on how I can get this before the end of the event? I seriously have gotten like 30 purple items to drop from them but not one of these. I'm not kidding when I say I will spend my remaining 500 crowns on it even after I bought to much this month.

Actually is there any guide to what treasure items drop from what? That would be a great help too.

I collect interesting stuff as well, to the chagrin of my inventories. I usually keep funny, weird or lewd stuff, such as the Allure of the Sweetroll artistic nude book, the SPROING! or the stuffed rat carcass. I've opened over 100 boxes, got a fair amount of rare (but boring) purple treasures, but not the werewolf smut. Hopefully I'll get lucky in the event's final days.

Heyo! Update I finally managed to steal it from a nightstand in the upstairs of the fighter's guild in High Isle. Specifically the one to the left of where the safebox is. Just for clarification's sake I say all of that but I am still very interested in resources to find out where every treasure item can be looted. I will start another thread about it if I cannot find out here.

I just got the Illiterate Chef's Guide to Seafood. I really wish this was an actual displayable book rather than a treasure.

What I found even funnier is the steamed pile of crab. "High Isle crab, steamed pile."

It’s quite random. This one found a copy from one of the purple boxes, but as Darthcuddle said, you can also loot it from containers.

Any Treasures can drop from any containers with prompt "Steal from", and from safeboxes.

I doubt that this particular treasure item was added only for event boxes, so there should be no rush to farm for it asap.



My personal favourite funny Treasure is Colorful Tapestry (An elaborate woven tapestry depicting scenes of knights and mages doing battle with mudcrabs.) The description amuses me greatly

Also, my main character has this item (from Elsweyr event) in her inventory for a long time now:



Not because she is khajiit, but because of the word "toebeans" in the title

I have spent actual years trying to obtain the Lovelorn Comforter and Lovelorn Quilt because they have a certain someone's name on them, and still they elude me. Either they don't actually drop in Glenumbra and Rivenspire, or the RNG gods are conspiring with Meridia to keep them away from me.

I do however have eight of these, all from the same dude's bedroom.

Some treasures only drop from some zones however.

Some of these treasures are incredibly hilarious and clever. I do wish some could be house furnishings! Who wouldn't want werewolf erotica or a stuffed rat carcass sitting on your nightstand, or a skeever tail drink stirrer in your kitchen?

I do get a laugh from some of the junk items in this game. It's not usually fun to get loads of vendor trash in your inventory, but at least some things have really cute/funny flavor text.

And I'm not going to lie, there are some I keep on hand. Like the Stainless Dueling Jock that my main keeps on hand... hey, an Orc's gotta protect his assets, amirite? 😂

But my werewolf did manage to get a copy of the item in question as well. He's spent a bit too long feral (and I'm not sure he could read in the first place), so I don't think he knows what it says. At least he can look at the pictures, I'm sure he enjoys that. 🤣
