AI for the NPCs
Enable the world to change over time (trees grow, new NPCs in towns, town development)
New abilities not new sets
....
So, now you go. But don't just say fix pvp, new server, de-bugg, roll back 35.... because that's a given.

I’d keep the open world PvP and just make a PVE version. Re: above your comment
I would make a companion dungeon, that levels up companions and drops their equipment (purple quality on hard mode). For example solo mode with 3 companions, or duo with 2 companions.
I would make meaningful nights, when its dark outside, so players would need a torch or light orb spell. With sunsets and sunrises.
