Exactly this. AT BEST they took a good animation and replaced it with another equally good animation. Why? What's the point? How is this worthwhile?
In reality, the clear majority opinion is that they took a good animation and wasted a bunch of time changing it to a horrible animation. That's doubly bad. A completely baffling and unexplainable waste all around.
Just change it back. At least give us that. The skill barely does damage now. At least don't make it ugly.

They decided to "fix" something that wasn't broken, and in doing so, broke it.
(Note that I posted one of these about Jabs so I'm just including Jabs for measure)
I like to give credit where credit is due and you know, ZOS has done alot of good with ESO in the past for the most part, make no mistake.
Now however I'm really confused as far as what we're doing here. Had not realized the Flurry animation was getting changed as well, many of us Templars was thinking of replacing Jabs with Flurry Morph but dang it, you guys messed that one up as well.
So I'm just wondering I mean, why did Flurry animation need this change? If you light attack once or twice then that produced the equivalent to the animation that you guys changed it to. It just looks harrible. Is there any possible way we can at least change the Flurry animation back to what it was? Cause this is not good work and it doesn't feel appropriate to the skill itself.
Again it looks [snip] and like the poor person isn't even trying to kill something just messing around with blades. I really hate some of these changes and it's almost making me think about quitting the game. Why? Cause I didn't get my way... nooooo. Because my character when attacking using Flurry or Jabs looks really sloppy and like I'm not even trying. Its like the character I built is no longer meeting the original vision.
Really sincerely wish you guys would roll back many of these terrible terrible changes. That's my honest unbiased feedback.

I main a Templar, and Jabs has been unchanged since I started playing... what's it been, 7 years now? You get used to the cadence of a spammable like that over that length of time, so any change is going to be scrutinized closely.
I could probably get used to the cadence and such over time, but it doesn't feel great right now. It feels less "snappy." There are a lot of examples of decisions made where players didn't like the "feel," numbers and efficiency and actual improvements be damned. This seems to be one of those times for these two skills.
