Dark Convergence vs. Dark Convergence

Mine: Usually most players seem to easily avoid it, the ones that don't rarely if ever die.
There's: I see more people get caught and die, myself included.

What's the deal? I've been trying as a NecroBomb and it's just not working as well as others. Got Balorgs as the headgear...any tips/tricks to be a better NecroBomber?

Visual cue, roll dodge immediately. Addons that show debuffs are also nice as they can show just before the animation, look for that specific icon and roll dodge out of there asap.

Terrible advice. The pull will pull you through dodge. The correct way to counter it is 1) don't stack. 2) if you see it come down, hold block, block cast snare removal, and walk out. Do not drop your block, and do not roll dodge.

The tip to bomb better is don't use DC. Use rush of agony, it's better in every way.

DCon is strong if spammed by group. If you are only one, than it is easy to avoid it. That make it ballgroup set.
    PvP - Recruit.
    PvE - Dragon food
RPG - A guy who thought, that he can defeat daedric prince, yet guards still chase him off when he accidentally touches some object during daily writs.

The advice about holding block and walk out is very solid and it pretty much the only one-size-fits-all solution. However, those that have the tools and like to play risky can use blinks, teleports, and maybe even gap closers to escape.

That being said, a smart bomber will try to pair their attack with an unblockable AoE stun so as to ensure those that only rely on blocking and walking away are doomed. In those cases you're only hope is that you have stun immunity up already.

Without giving too much away, Dcon is only a very minor part of the setup and can actually be skipped altogether. I've yet to see any guide or video actually expose any of the many tricks that good bombers use for stacking and control.

There's too many ways to bomb nowadays so much of it will come down to personal preference and comfort. There are only a few essential pieces:
    1. Plaguebreak
    2. Stacking (kiting, baiting or pulling)
    3. AOE CC

First of all you need to decide if you want to be an all-rounder that can small scale effectively or go all in on zerg bombing. You are effectively sacrificing AOE abilities and damage buffs for single target abilities and gap closers on your skill bar. The second decision is whether you are content with tank-bombing zergs or if you want to attempt bombs on ball groups. The former is a very safe tanky approach which only requires the bare minimum damage to pop 1 target for the on-death procs to kill everyone else. The latter will probably require at least a duo bombing combo, ~10K WD/SD and/or negate.

The bombing gameplay itself is 90% anticipation, 9% movement (kiting, baiting and faking) and 1% timing (your combo and burst damage window). As such, there's few secrets besides being able to read zergs better with experience, and then outplaying their counterbombing tactics once they start figuring you out. When it comes to more organized groups, you'll need to be able to read pressure and transitions to understand when they are vulnerable to a bomb.

what does bombing mean in this context? because bombing to me means 1 shot from a wizard.

Good advice thank you @Cuddlypuff . At @Quethrosar in this case "bombing" is netting a large amount of grouped players, usually with an AOE and sets (above) and an ultimate. As I understand it, the Necromancer is one of the best choices for a bomber.

Personally, I would like them to change it so that it is dodge-able. I think the most annoying part for me is that I HEAR and SEE it coming, but can't escape. All I can do is block and hope the combo won't kill me. I think I should be rewarded for my skill by being able to escape. Let noob zerg balls fall prey to it.

It's where you set up a short skill combo that puts out a high amount of burst damage, and concentrate it on a [usually] densely packed and smallish area of effect to dmg multiple players at once in a short amount of time.
