New two rider mount looks really bad (clipping)

✭✭Genuine question: what if you have really low rapport? Would the companion still ride with you? Or maybe slip a dagger in “by accident”? It seems rather awkward to have a companion ride along on the same mount if they really can’t stomach the vestige.

If they can't stomach you, they will leave your side and can't be summoned. So I imagine they also can't ride. Ones that have extremely low rapport are willing to do what you ask them to do, barely stomaching you (but tolerating you nonetheless) but will give up trying to work with you quickly if you continue to aggravate them. Magenpie✭✭✭✭✭I'd really love to know why we haven't had a new horse model, not in a customer service sense but from a development difficulty point of view? Is it that a new model creates insurmountable problems with the horse's movement or something? Is it that the cost/benefit to improving them isn't good enough?
It just makes me sad. I don't buy the horses because the model is so terrible and I'd LOVE to feel good about collecting them, and I don't think it's just me. Responses to threads like these always have one or two people saying they don't care or don't notice, but there are always a good number of people who do.
I'm genuinely curious about it.3 -

I've seen a couple of people ride them. Like, literally two people. One person asked if anyone wanted a lift. I have no idea if anyone took them up on it.
For me personally I'll probably wait until the dwemer spider one is unleashed, even though I have no real interest in the spider mounts. At the very least they can't screw up their anatomy.Enemy of Boob Plates
