So can companions ride with you?

I remember someone said on the PTS you could choose whether to have companions ride their own mount or ride behind you on the two person mount, but now I'm seeing some people say companions can't ride with you.

It's too expensive for me either way though.

There's an option in the settings you can change to have your companions ride with you on a group mount or have them ride their own mount.

But there still seems to be hope, the Wayrest Vanner Pillion Steed has (at least in the picture) almost normal hind legs!

Thanks! Still overpriced IMO, but that's a cute feature.

ESO horses have always had weird back legs but the legs on this multi rider mount are way to far wrong, just google any picture of a horse, you will see they have almost streight legs when stood still...
Also eveything is ESO crown store is really expensive, 5 k crowns is a rip off but so is eveything else!

This is the kind of content that could have been put into raids as a hard to gain collectable.
It could have become a stimulus for players, but instead is just a pricey gadget in the shop.

No, that's because they always show the horse mounts from that angle because they KNOW the hindquarters look terrible. From that angle you can't see the problems.

You look at all the official horse mount pics - always taken from that perspective.

Exactly. I'm going to wait until it goes on sale. No way am I spending $40 on a mount... Same with the assistants. I would never spend 5k in crowns on that. I don't understand why ZoS things these prices are reasonable.

I'm sorry to say this, but I wouldn't buy this horse even if it costs just 500 crowns or wouldn't even use it if I could get it for free, it just looks too bad. Hopefully the "Dwarven-automobile" will be better...

Yeah, I'm from Tennessee. One cousin runs a horse farm and another was semi-professional barrel racer. My Uncle (on the other side) used to show Tennessee Walking Horses. Sooo when I played RDR2 I was absolutely blown away by the horses. The behaviors are so freaking accurate from the ear positions that will tell you exactly what kind of mood your horse is in to the dislike of blood when you skin an animal. I laughed so hard when I got kicked trying to steal out of someone else's saddle bags because well horses will do that. The only thing Red Dead didn't get right about horses was the constant poop animation which was way off (animation was fine but horses don't poop every 5 mins lol). Even the Mules in RDR2 look amazing.

ESO started life a lot more stylized with graphics improving each patch and so some things are forgivable but I really don't understand some of the issues with how horses are imagined. It's such a core element but very few look passable.

And how some breeds which got unique gaits didn't get those. Like the Missouri Fox Trotter doesn't fox trot.

I never disagreed with people's horror towards this game's horse anatomies, though I failed to grasp its reasons (granted, it was probably due to lack of attention to detail on my part). However, these last few comparative pictures at long last got me to fully understand the criticism. Thus, my reaction is as follows: yikes, waaaaaat, nonononono, gaaaah, *1000-yard-stare*, GASP, godfreakingbloodyblastedhellishgrief and D'OH!

That being said, I still liked the four-seater horse another player posted above.

I got it just so I could ride with Bastian and friends...but holy cow this horse is so ugly and lifeless, no care was put into its design it seems...They've had far prettier horse models to be sure. A better idea would be 5000 crowns for the multi saddle just to use it on all my mounts I already have rather than this horse. We spend so much on crown and crown gem mounts I think it would be a better option to buy the saddle alone. Heck they could even throw in saddle cosmetics for your mounts if they want to make money off that rather than making a completely new model. Or make it a new craftable item! I would love to decorate my mounts in flowers, leaves, bells, skulls, etc! And then they can add that into crown crate prize options even. I just hope if they do that, I wont have to pay for it again as I already bought the plastic multi-mount.
I don't mind spending money on ESO ZOS, it's like going to the arcade after getting my paycheck, I love collecting cool stuff but this horse....uffda!
