ZOS can you release all the casual clothes as an outfit pack?!

way back when all those years ago when the thieves guild and dark brotherhood were the new DLC something was added.

dozens upon dozens of unique apparel were added to the game as loot, various normal shirts, pants, shoes, sandals, etc.

all usable by us the player, you can equip all of it and wear it.

except its all white useless NPC gear added in only as fluff. now wouldn't it be nice to have those added in a bundle to the crown store as outfit pieces we could use in our outfits?

the majority of the work is done, just flag it as a motif, bundle it, sell it, done.

if you were really nice you would make pages available in game from the current sources as a rare drop, but i would be happy and more then willing to fork over crowns for that bundle.

Then they would probably no longer be available in the game or made very very rare drops so people have to buy them. I use them for RP and I've already spent enough money on housing and real costumes, no need to monetize what is free now.

I would really love this as I can't help but save them, but I never wear them because of the effort, so they are just taking up inventory space on a mule. They wouldn't have to remove the items from the game, either, but you could get credit for the outfit styles if you HAVE the items.

I would be excited to see this done.

No, it's be nice to just have them added to your style book when you loot or dismantle them. Why make it a crown bundle?

(yes, I have a huge collection of those things saved on a mule)

      Reminder from last year

      https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/594510/inside-scoop-why-the-basic-clothing-items-never-got-added-to-the-outfit-system-and-never-will

I still think this is ridiculous but here we are. They have some weird thing against them and won't let us use them because they think they are ugly.

I don't think we'll see them added to the CS for the reasons @spartaxoxo outlined.
They keep the CS for the perfect\pristine looking garb, so if they think the vanilla outfit pieces are ugly... yeah.

I use them as around-the-house wear and they're perfect for that. (Who cooks wearing full plate armour anyway?)
Personally I like them a lot and am always on the lookout for more pieces.

Speaking of, is there a listing of all acquirable clothing items? I have quite a few but keep thinking there must be a lot more I've to find yet.

EDIT: My gods I want that Broom weapon LOL

It was the April Fools 2017 "Pay to Lose" pack that added the broom as a weapon and a bucket helmet. I've still got them, but they are literally useless and are currently taking up my bank space lmao.

I would love it if those things were also added to the "styles" page, because, again, useless.

I love some of these clothing pieces, and unfortunately had to junk a lot of them due to inventory issues. I would love to have them as motifs. Who cares if the lead team think they're ugly, many of us do not think they are and would gladly wear them to make our characters look like actual people in the game world.

If the current set of clothing items is considered "ugly", then the answer is to produce a better set that can be used that way (which also solves the problem of what happens with the existing ones).

What we're asking for is style items that are not armor. We have sandals, and that's about all. Some of the light armor pieces are clothing-like, but not many. And the point is mix-and-match, not complete costumes. We can wear a non-armor hat, but all other slots are somehow different?

      Yes! Pretty please.

I currently use the Prisoners Rags complete with manacles for my under 50s to indicate that they are not fit for fight yet. I also use Prisoners Rags on my "Beggar Prince" Templar who is a wandering mendicant do-gooder for RP.

These would be very useful and enjoyable motifs for some of us.

Yeah, I'm not convinced that the right people are in charge of deciding what is "ugly" or not :P Someone mentioned in that other thread linked above, we still see them all over on NPC's so why can't we just wear them too if we think them cute.

I too would be in favour of more normallish clothing pieces (these items or newer ones made for purpose), being introduced as a huge clothing pack of styles. While we have a large choice of items to wear if we buy enough in the store, with costumes it is still easy for people to look slightly clone-ish due to the repeated model. Having a variety of "everyday or NPCish" tops, bottoms, gloves, hats and boots to mix and match would allow people to be much more imaginative at creating characters to blend in with the world and perhaps alleviate some of the "over-flashiness" people sometimes have trouble with in-game.

I'd also love to see a farm implement weapon pack perhaps as I love my Cadwell weapons (we could play farmers conscripted into battle .. they could even throw in a cow mount for us to ride on!)

Another grand addition would be style pages that add jewelry rather than a clothing piece eg glove models that add rings to our fingers rather than gloves .. or an ornate necklace top that leaves the chest bare but covers the bits people always seem to not like having showing! :P (think Isabella Rossellini in Death Becomes Her).

Should they want to they could add sparkling, bejewelled or be-ringed fingers instead of staffs for magic users .. though of course that would mean new animations :P Perhaps when they introduce a new magic weapon they could be empowered magical rings, giving a less stick-y and more dance/martial arts style of casting for magick-users (I'm thinking like the sorcerers in the marvel films perhaps but less copy-writey)! Though on the downside of that, a lot of the in game vfx might just cover up the hands, but we already have that with weapons where the unappealing weapon enchants often cover up the work we do on making our weapons match our costumes/outfits.

I use a few disguises when I'm inbetween looks, or just not sure what I want a particular toon to wear atm,.
My go to is the Servant's Robes you aquire during a quest in Stros M'Kai, it's not even a robe perse, just a blue top, brown pants, and some laced boots.

if it doesn't have floating arm pieces, crotch and hip flaps, it's obviously not worth the effort huh....

I def woul buy such a bundle

Indeed Blinx, that disguise is always a favourite of mine too. I would love for a variety of that "feel" be added to the game, we're not all trying to be super rich nobles in game so a variety of more "commoner" style items would just be great!

      I'd love this as well.

I have and use some of them and there's probably others I'd use if I'd found them (or found them since I learned they're dyable), but I'd use a lot more of them more often if they were outfit pieces and didn't have to sit in my inventory.

The downside for me (and additional upside for ZOS) is that's one of the things which would get me to buy an additional outfit slots.
