Impossible to Obtain - Sovereign Sow

So these fragments ONLY drop from the Stupendous Jester Festival boxes... The gold ones. Which you can only obtain once a day. The golden boxes also can have the second seed and cadwell outfit styles. There are seven fragments for the pet. Only seven days for the event. You get a fragment per box when one drops. So unless I get a fragment EVERY DAY from start to end of the event... It is impossible to get all the fragments for the pet. I have only two fragments so far, and only two chances left (I just did the Tuesday one minutes before writing this post). Which means the pet is unobtainable until next year for me. This is a problem for those who do not have the pet yet. I kinda wish they added a grab bag for this event too, where you can at least get another chance to get items from previous years. Since the event is so short, there is no way I will be able to get the pet during this event.

Edited to clarify the issue more: The pet fragments CANNOT BE BOUGHT AT GUILD TRADERS. You can only receive fragments you have not obtained. If you have all the fragments, you cannot get anymore. The fragments are bound to you. Which means after the event, you cannot simply buy them from a trader after, like you would with the outfits. Once the event is over, there is no chance of obtaining the pet, no matter how much gold you have. Which is a problem for the pet. They should have either made extra fragments drop for everyone to trade or sell, OR made it so the whole pet drops without the fragments.

I've had about one "golden box" (stupendous, whatever) have no second seed, no caldwells, and sometimes a Regal (last years drop, I think?).

The RNG is pretty nasty this time around, at least for me.

Yeah that's pretty bad. The RNG is pretty lousy this year... At least all of those you can still buy from the traders later for a lot of gold The pet fragments you can ONLY obtain from boxes, and if you don't get it during the event you cant get it at all. Not from traders. Not anywhere.

this is my 2nd Jesters, and Sow Frags 1/7 which I got this year lmao, awful drop rate!

I wish they had the grab bags for ALL events that have run previously. This would give us something to spend our spare tickets on instead of the useless Group Repairs.

Heck it could give those of us who missed all Indriks to get them too. I missed all the ones before I started playing, but have all after. Bring them back in grab bags.

I’ve been doing this frustrating event since it started and I’m still one fragment away from having that stupid pig.

I have long since got over it, is all I can tell you.

It’d be nice if the fragments were tradeable.

It's a pig. I don't remember what it looks like though. It's been a while since I saw a screenshot of it.

I SO AGREE!! They should have those grab bags for every event! I was so excited when they first added them a couple years ago i think now, then super confused when they werent in next event, then a while passed... and it just seems so odd that they do, they dont, they do, they dont....

Because it was nice to think that if we missed an event one year, the next year we might grab it.

I've got all the pig frags from last year - and I'd love to give them away; they're just sitting there in the fragment pane, because I'm not interested in "making" the pig....

With the changes made a while ago (where frags became a part of Collections, with a subtab) it's impossible to buy the missing frags: frags for pets/mementos will only drop if you still miss them.
Besides that, players with frags obtained previously to changes made can't form the runebox to trade/sell.

It's probably just to keep people grinding them for years, so they don't have to create new ones every year. Pretty lazy, IMO.

No they won't, they're no longer "solid" pieces of anything - they go into the Fragments pane in your Collections and you can't remove them from there.

This one was pretty doable in 2020 when it was new, but now it seems pretty rough even if you had most of it, let alone starting from scratch.

I have been waiting a year to get her and no drops. Support was no help. Last year you could buy with tickets.

You could buy them from the impresario last year. But not this year.

I bought this princess pig with tickets last year and still use it every day on my 'clown' character. I wasn't aware of the fragment changes. If they are going to do that, they need to have it available for tickets. These events are getting stingier and less fun as a trending pattern from my observation.

My daughter just started playing last month. She's gotten ONE fragment for the pig despite playing Jesters Festival every day, and unfortunately I can't even help her collect the fragments because I've gotten zero. I already have the pig, though, so perhaps they're not dropping for me because I already have it. She doesn't have it, though. She has zero chance of getting the pig this year, and at this drop rate, won't be getting it next year either. Yeah, drop rate is insultingly terrible this year, unless they put the fragments into the anniversary boxes.

Fragments drop based on if you have collected them before or not. If you've already collected a fragment already, you'll never get that fragment again. Or if you've already got the pet, you'll never get any Fragments for it in the future. Which is stupid. Extra Fragments should drop so they can at least be sold to traders, or given to people who still haven't got the pet...

I WISH I could give her mine from last year. It's not a pet I want or would ever use....
