Stuga is gone? OMG that is wonderful. I felt like that woman stalked my toons. I shut off the volume in part because of the constant nagging from her, mages guild and fighters guild NPCs. Like, if I am not coming to you, then take the bloody hint. Send me a msg like undaunted or something. Following me around with the never ending nagging, in some cases in nearly every city I am in is insane.

Despite all the memes I actually don't remember her at all, it's been so long. I kind of looked forward to experiencing her again on an alternate character someday. Oh well.

Yes so, I have already completed the Orsinium quest line on one Daggerfall Covenant character.

I STILL get Stuga pestering me with her 'Do you know how long I've been looking for you?' sales pitch, in Glenumbra, on my other Daggerfall Covenant character.

So not sure why she's not showing up for you, OP, but she's def right here, right now, for me.

I'm also still getting pestering from the Mage's and Fighter's Guilds on characters who haven't started/completed those questlines, despite having done them on a couple of other characters.

Never fear, they still need to you run errands for them.

Yes, it doesn't make any sense that she would be gone, based on the understanding I have from what breaks and doesn't.

People can still do quests over, so NPCs that have uncompleted quests should still show up and bug you, unless they are programmed to check an achievement before appearing I guess.

It is situations like NPCs who react to things you have done and comment on them -- oh it was YOU that rescued us from whatever! -- or when ZOS tried to be smarter, based on good feedback that we wanted the game to be more interactive, and had choices and dialogues in quests that change based on an attribute that is in an achievement. So an NPC thinks I am a vampire when I'm not, or an NPC doesn't appear if we killed them or made a choice once where they shouldn't reappear but in that character's run through we did NOT make that choice. Stuff like that.

There are definitely some assumptions going around that aren't true, and I get inspired to test only to be thwarted by being kicked out at login due to the other issues happening. As much as I'm unhappy about how this all went down, I think it's very important to weed out the assumptions vs. the valid things that are broken because a) nothing will get fixed if we don't and b) it will diminish the story of what actually was dismissed that could have been avoided if there are too many "false" assumptions bopping around. A central list somewhere of AwA continuity issued confirmed by multiple people to be broken would be nice.

There aren't any because nothing has changed. If the character you're currently playing has started the Orsinium storyline (or at least picked up the quest) she won't bother you and may not even appear. If you're on a character who hasn't done that and you're in Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard or Davon's Watch she'll run up to you like she always has.

My guess is either the OP did the Orsinium storyline on their only character or last character who hadn't done it sometime before posting this or they misunderstood the account-wide achievements update and thought it would make it impossible for new characters to get the quest (which isn't the case, because the quest isn't tied to an achievement).

Oh yes! That one already started to turn doing crafting writs in Vulkhel Guard into something very annoying.

Gone are the times where one could simply do their writs in peace and quiet there...

You cannot even avoid her, as she is standing near one of the writ boards, so as soon as you get near the board, she starts yelling across the whole plaza.

No, I don't want to play the card game and constantly shouting at me about it won't change it.

I really would like to have her moved to somewhere else...

Stuga never bothered me. I will miss her if she is truly gone.


Now if you want to talk about Gathwen in Khenarti's Roost, I would pay real money to see her gone.

One of my low level alts had a run in with her just a couple of days ago. She's still around and if your character hasn't done her quest you can still hear, "Do you know how long I've been looking for you?"
