this used to get me SO PUMPED to play this game!!! When the bass hit i was like LETS GO!!!
sadly like all things great come and go.

Is there anything in the works for the future that will allow us to change the main menu screens and songs? ANOTHER REALLY GOOD ONE WAS THE ORIGINAL ESO MAIN MENU I saw that on YouTube I never played this game back then, but I sure would like that too that's actually animated and interactive! why they got rid of that for a static background image I would never know why...are there any mods that allow u to do this? Idk I'm just asking anything cause I really don't like the High Isle picture NOR the music AGAIN....Blackwoods main menu music/picture was TERRIBLE and now the new High Isle is NOT AS BAD but its still, BAD. AFTER 8 YEARS, I think we are entitled to main menu theme customization...don't you think?

I'm surprised they haven't since it would be a very good thing to sell to players for them. They could earn lots of money just from selling the background images etc in the crown store.

The music datamine for the DLC's PTS update 7.3.3 included all of the previous main themes (except Harrowstorm). I'm yet to do that for the 7.3.5 update, but I will post on that later today.

Just finished the 7.3.5 music datamine, it's the same as it was for 7.3.3. Previous main themes (Base Game, Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr, Greymoor & Blackwood) were added alongside the High Isle theme, making it seem that we are getting a chance to swap themes in-game in the future. Like you, I'd also want to have the Harrowstorm/Opening Cinematic theme back in the game.

God, I love the Harrowstorm main theme. Always gets me pumped to play. That beat drops harder than the hype for High Isle after they announced the card game.

I wish they'd implement log in customization too, with music, loading screen images, and the ability to choose the 3d image that appears behind each character from a selection of all past and present ones. I love the new ones the characters stand in, but I also miss the old alliance specific ones.

I remember an announcement saying this would be a thing sometime in the future by Gina. Can't remember where it was but it was definitely planned.

Can't wait to boot up ESO to the original theme. I miss hearing it when loading up into Cyrodiil and logging in.

Not really, they're bringing back something that was already there. Allowing us options is good, and it's not some huge undertaking like AwA. Sometimes I leave the intro screen on as I get ready, and let the music play. It's a nice nostalgia factor for people who remember the old music themes.

And it'd be nice to get the original tutorials back too. I miss the Morrowind intro tutorial most of all. Elsweyr's was pretty good too.

That said neither will happen because deleting them helps 'performance' or something.

I think this would be nice to have. Choices are good. Also I bet a lot of effort went into each of the themes. Why not let people enjoy all of them?

In my opinion, the old tutorials could be linked together with the Balfiera portals.

Also this was in the patch notes after Blackwood launched:

Elsweyr Tutorial: Changed the position of a Euraxian soldier in Star Haven Adeptorium to make their corpse-searching less suggestive.

I would love to be able to pick my login/intro music and background.
I honestly love all the music in this game. It's one of the things I feel ZOS does amazingly without fail. But I do have favorites. Including the Greymoor chapter login screen. I'd also love the option to experience the original login screen and music. I wasn't playing ESO then, so I missed out.

I would enjoy being able to change my character select screen and music. It would be really awesome if we could loot a rare drop from different zones that gave a themed character select screen and/or music. I would like one drop for each zone for music, and one drop for each zone for the artwork.

If they were to do this, I would like the artwork from the paintings we get in game to be used as inspiration. They wouldn't work as character select screens as-is, but something like that made to look like our characters are standing in the scenery. That is what I would hope for. And then throw in some zone appropriate music and it would be perfect.

I am thankful they added the option to change the music. But they didnt add the other songs. Like Harrowstorm. The one I have posted in my original post, its not on here. But thats not what Im here for....

Now we need the option to change the main menu picture as well. I want the Greymoor with the Snow and Wolf head (also in my original post) and/or the Original ESO Logo. Someone said when this game first came out it would change depending on what faction you joined (AD, EP or DC). Either way I want to change the main menu pics because as of late, no only has the music been crap, but the main menu pics have been dog water too.. We should atleast have options to customize our main menu with MORE alternate songs (not just the 8 expansion songs...need the DLCs too Like Horrowstorm they even used it in the "Play Cinematic" video too!).

The background images in the Main Menu were shuffling around until the UI was changed after Greymoor's release.

Another thing that would be nice for the Console/Gamepad UI users, is to have the option to change the animated start-up screen for the previous Chapters (they still exist in the files). PC players never did have the chance see those backgrounds (apart from the BG_Smoke.bik file in the videos folder until it was removed) until High Isle added Gamepad UI to the Main Menu.

I wish the options could exist so when you create your character and finish your appearance and name that you would be able to pick and choose where you want to start your tutorial. I liked Morrowinds and Elsweyr and Skyrims Tutorial but also the first tutorial in Molag Bal's realm Coldharbour, well the old and long one that is. However I don't like the new one, it feels boring. I been skipping it with the new characters.

Yea, Harrowstorm was the best intro IMO both main menu song and picture. It had the snow and the wolf stone head

When I heard the original theme kick on again after so many years of never hearing I the nostalgia kicked in.... then I hated it again because it reminded me of all the times I spent waiting to load into Cyrodiil lol.

And then I fell in love with it again because of that memory and keep the main theme on every time I log in.

Also reminds me of my first character who was a hybrid NB vampire that dealt barely 7k DPS. Was a time I was a noob and the game felt new and fresh.

It's available on PC. I think it had problems on console, and isn't active yet.
