have zos changed the way leads you found stay active if you found them once as i had loads of motifs to get and sell at the trader. it would have been nice to warn everyone that they would lose all there old leads so could have gotten them. i now have leads that sunday said 30 days that are now 1 day left. surely would have been better to let them start counting down now not just delete everything you had over 30 days for you without some warning. they might not realise that lots of players dont read pts patch notes or ones when the updates released. they depend on others in guilds letting them know and when you login after an update and see everything is gone is not easy to warn the rest of your guild to get them done.

as you can see nothing is left and whatever they turned off didnt stop all my leads being deleted over 30 days and all the rest are now counting down even if you found it already0 -
tepav✭✭Yes indeed, this is an undocumented change. ZOS "might" consider it a bug fix, but we do know from a comment by Rich on his Twitch stream, they did this on purpose. All leads will now expire... "for consistency". Why was it not documented? Why were we not given any warning this would happen so we could dig up leads that would be expired after the update? That's a real good question. Even better, why didn't they just reset the timers on any leads older than 30 days so we had a minimum of 30 days to dig up old leads before they expired?
Very poor form, ZOS. Uncharacteristically poor form, not a good look. I and many others lost in excess of 20 purple/gold leads we had been saving for one reason or another. Me, I was saving them for when an Alt was high enough skilled to dig them up to help level the last painful part of Antiquity leveling.

Still not fixed for everyone, unfortunately. I've got quite a few furnishings I'm staring at in my houses and 0 codex entries for them. They're still "hidden entries" and not showing up in the filter.0 -

✭I would like to confirm that some of my missing leads are still missing. The only ones that came back were those for which I actually had the item in my inventory.
The ones which were only in my Storage Chests... I still have the items in my Storage Chests (and I have all 8 Storage Chests) but their codex entries are missing.
This might also explain why multi-part antiquities are still missing their codex entries, since they do not become real items till you have dug up all 5 parts.0
