I do love it, but the performance deteriorates fast so a lot of activities just can't be done without getting frustrated with the game faster than when MYM isn't on.

Cyrodiil needs to much more heavily populated with resources. Spending almost the whole time galloping with very little to gather when it’s double mats is a bit boring for a PvE player. IC is great when you latch onto a marauding group. So much fun.

You don't need to be specced for PvP, it's just nice. I got 18 toons and Midyear makes it easy to get to at least tier 1 on most of them since they're mainly PvE. I just do hardcore PvP on a couple of them that I'm more successful at. Not bombing tho.

This one has been fun. Good fights all around. Ball groups are at a minimum if any at all.

Everyone can contribute, using siege/countersiege and repairing. Get in a big group, follow the zerg and surf the AP waves.

PvP in Cyrodiil is a blast. Love it even though I die constantly. Its a great zone and I love going there when the itch for epic battles comes round. LOVE epic battles with tons of people. Pure bliss.

I don't mind doing it for event tickets but these days I don't do anything beyond the bare minimum required for the tickets because PVP in this game just doesn't interest me.

Love the double AP!!! Also, seeing a mix of PvP players and PvE makes for some truly interesting fights.

Some just surprise you with the crazy stuff they do. Easily one of my favourite events, although just like you I am looking foreward to the Elsweyr one.

I usually enjoy it immensely, although there are a few times when enemy players make it nearly impossible to complete quests in the Imperial City.

This year I completed all IC district quests and Chorrol quests on the first two days of the event, but after that I slacked off so I could focus more on completing daily and weekly endeavors, plus kill mini-bosses in the sewers.

I don’t PVP, but yeah I love it! I usually go charging in and quickly fall flat on my face, but it’s kind of a rush. I must be getting a little bit better because I’ve actually won a fight or two this time around.

Yes I like it, although this time I've disconnected and frozen several times each day.

Sometimes I cannot use skills at all, my character will halfway do the animation and nothing happens at all. This lasts up to a minute. It happened after being chained, however being chained did not always disable my character.

At times the lag is notably bad. I know that if it takes several seconds to use a mount a keep's length away from a battle, then my siege will also be busy by about the same amount of time and skills will be delayed as well.

Population, despite being pop-locked, seems down. There are times when absolutely nothing is going on in the map on the main campaign.

I like it fine. As a PvE soloist, it is the only time I go into Cyrodiil. Long ago, I earned the Alliance skills I want, earned L10 in the Alliance skills so I can buy the skill line if I ever create a character who needs it. So the draw for me now is transmute crystals. My elf is a Sergeant of Wall Repair - that provides the bulk of the AP necessary to keep transmute crystals coming fairly efficiently at double AP. And completing a town or scouting quest without getting killed is simple enough to get a couple event tix per day. Especially by banking some of them up before the event starts.

Normally, I average one pledge per day for one transmute crystal (solo) but MYM nets me almost 10 a day which is a nice boost.

As someone who got turned off by Cyro and IC very early when I first started playing ESO a little over 3 years ago. Mainly due to the lag and the constant system crashes when engaging in large battles. The last few Midyear Mayhem's have been a little better but I personally hate all the stealth backstabbing and suicide bombers.

If they created an instance where stealth and invisibility was not an option and I would play more often but I am sure that will never happen. Just to be clear I do not consider crouching to try and hide or sneak in this category.

I have been in some very fun and epic Keep battles during this event. But I pretty much only do PvP during Midyear Mayhem.

Not atm because i can never get in as it's always locked so I have to get an hour in very early morning which isn't ideal.

I'm not a big pvp player normally and I am trying to get into it but I always get ganked by invisible enemies when I'm trying to reach the group. Some kind hearted player tries to res me and they gey ganked by the same guy.

Also could do with a visible tag in the map so people can see where the commander/group is?

Well I just managed my personal saddest PVP moment so far. I got killed by a coldfire trebuchet without any red circle warning, not too major that just means it's a bit laggy. I got a res from a nice player also sieging the keep with me, promptly died to coldfire damage, released back to another fort, died to coldfire damage, released back to the main camp and died to, yup coldfire damage. After like 5 minutes my character and corpse still happily burning away with blue flames. I logged out for about an hour and when I came back the flames were finally out at least. Wonderful to be able to participate in the event and I hope the guy who killed me got credit for all 8 or so deaths.

Cyrodiil is great, but IC is just awful unless you're a bomber or professional. I get my tickets and get out of there ASAP.

For the beginning, I recommend grabbing a mate to aid each other in between keeps OR make use of invisibility pots! If you see an enemy, or they get to you and unmount you, try to put distance instead of fighting and use one if you just want to get to keeps. Otherwise, you really do get experience only from trying.

Also learning while wearing heavy armor is usually recommended, as medium/light only benefit experienced players because the damage taken is going to be plenty. Do not forget impenetrable as a trait, it will save you from otherwise very nasty crits.

For the rest, keep an eye out on the map (Not while out in the open, unless you are hidden) to see what's being attacked/defended and also mind the chat. Sometimes you can get an idea as to where your faction is going that way.

As a pve only player it does nothing for my gaming experience but I’m glad the event is there to entice players into giving something a shot they otherwise may have skipped. Would it be nice if every event had both a pvp/pve option to cater to both crowds sure but they are trying to drive the players together not split them up more I suppose.

At least it makes for some entertaining content to watch when I’m unable to play. Try and have a good time everyone 👍

I normally love it, but this year I've found that my Level 11 Toon is getting ambushed daily by a group of 12 players when I'm trying to turn in my quests at my Alliance hold locations. I understand the whole PVP, but geez people, this was a level 11 toon that really didn't need to be stomped to death by a large group.

I love it this year. My IC activity ends at shooting mobs from EP base for Valga's quest, but I'm having a blast in battlegrounds. I'm even starting to properly play objectives and getting those kills for the red dye.

I only have one gripe with the event. THEY NEED TO FIX THE GD ladders from the Sewer to The Arena district in all the bases! I am SO FED UP with being told I am already qeued for that campaign or Jump Failed or whatever the message of the day may be! EVERY GD Time I get killed and have to climb back up that ladder, I'm cursing the ZOS programmers who haven't fixed this yet!

I was loving it until this afternoon and had to quit playing because the lag has been brutal and unrelenting for the two straight hours I tried playing. Everything is in slow mo when it comes to casting skills.
Not sure what happened as I played all weekend virtually lag free and then got this all of a sudden when I logged in today.
