I've been playing for about 3 years and love the game. But I find myself playing less and less these days. I get on maybe once a week.

Me, too, although I still play daily. To be honest, if it weren't for logging in daily on both the PC NA and PC EU servers to get my login rewards, do my crafting writs, and get my Dark Brotherhood supplies and twice-daily crafting assistant mails, I might not log in daily-- possibly just once, twice, or thrice a week. But that isn't anything to do with the state of the game, because the game runs fine for me.

Rather, it's more a matter of fatigue. When I first started playing, I played for hours on end each day, running around exploring the different zones and doing all the quests. Then I gradually settled into a more relaxed playing style that revolved around a daily routine-- doing writs, maybe farming gold by other means such as looting and fencing, and then working on quests, delves, and any newly-released content.

Right now I'm finally finishing up Markarth on my PC NA main, so I'll be ready for Blackwood when it's released. And I'm doing the Stonefalls quests on my PC EU main, as part of Cadwell's Gold, after which I'll move on to the Cyrodiil quests and delves, Craglorn, Wrothgar, and so on, since I'm trying to work through the content in release order on PC EU in contrast to the crazy mixed-up order I did everything in on the PC NA server.

I'm still enjoying ESO a great deal, but I'm also playing Arena a lot, then I plan to start on Daggerfall, plus I occasionally play a bit on my current Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim characters. In some ways I consider ESO to be the best Elder Scrolls game, but as with any game or other activity you just need to ease up on it from time to time.

I haven't even gotten to the "endgame" stage in ESO yet, and I'm not in any hurry to get there. There's still a great deal left for me to do in ESO, and I expect to be playing it weekly, if not daily, for a long time to come.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

So you joined in 2020 and play content that rarely has game breaking performance.

I've been playing since 2018, kthnx. Both PVP and PVE. Do not assume you know everything about everyone just because you think you know it.

I can't speak for a lot of others on their reasons for staying or going...but I can speak for myself and a few other friends who have stopped playing....

Mianly as of now...the cost for ESO Plus....me personally, i haven't had a full 40hrs week in a year, we've had to cut back on several things but the Bills all still have to be paid....I was playing ESO and Fallout 76 with both monthly charges...that $30 might not sound a lot but it might as well be $90...and that's not just me, that's 3-5 others I know who all stopped playing.

Love the game...I have Five Character and my CP are around 650...have (4) Crafting Nodes at close 90%, in a relaxed casual guild that did stuff every friday Night...which by the way half also left and not playing anymore including the Two Leaders...

Real shame but that's life and reality for some....some of us actually did consider Blackwood...but it sounded like getting back into destiny but worse...have to grab a couple of months of ESO so there's $50...then the Blackwood Edition another $50.....that might as well be $200 for me right now....

Plus...we're all on PS4...which right now has far more to lose than gain with the MS and Bethesda Venture...don't think ESO is going anywhere soon but future wise; Xbox and PC are clearly in the right position...which is another reason why several of us HAVE NOT jumped on the Must-get-PS5 bandwaggon....I'm actually leaning to return to PC Gaming...but I and others I know are done with Monthly Subscriptions especially with just one game...Xbox Game Pass, that's differnt and far, far, more bang-4-buck...
