Massive Warden Nerf Way Overdone

    They could have taken the stun and the damage without nerfing the heals. PVE doesn't need that anyway.

    Because it's a defensive skill for a ranged class in case someone gets too close. I won't argue that stamdens abuse every tool they have access to.

    A nerf in PvE, undeserved and creating a problem for tanks.

    I highly doubt a PvE tank will even recognize the difference. If you need that heal, slot another one. The nerf for PvE is very negligible, for PvP it was mandatory.

    A damaging stun DoT that has a direct heal, heal over time and a debuff attached to it - this is the most overloaded skill in game.

    Mathematically, if something is 20% stronger than it should be, the appropriate nerf is a 16.67% reduction.

    Leave polar wind strong. That heal was fine. Arctic blast I can understand.
    PvP needs more love.

    That skill was just too good. It does everything, and did it better than everything else. It needed to be brought down.

    This is one reason I have not pre-ordered the expansion. I have ESO+ until the end of the year, but I very well may just bail. Things like this are really annoying. Though some will always justify anything that happens (or doesn't happen).

    How are you suffering with the nerf? Did you mean now you can't take advantage of a massively overpowered heal that should not be in the class in the first place. Speaking of which, I also have a stamina warden for pvp, and it is still a better option than most other classes with this nerf.

    It would be nice if nerfs only applied to the game type where they are overpowered.

    Still, silly of me to think a solo build would stay viable for more than a couple of months.
    So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

Even with max resistance and over 50k health I am literally dead before my CC break animation can even start. And you expect me to believe a single player can hold them off with a heal that does what, 3% of max health according to the tooltip I read?

    I don't know who you guys are fighting in battlegrounds but I wish I could meet them. Because that heal is going to do jack ____ against the people I frequently have the displeasure of fighting.

    Can someone with one of these supposed "unkillable" builds in battlegrounds please send me a private message so I can do a battleground with you and see this for myself. Because I have yet to see it.

    But the game can't be balanced around you sucking.
    It also can't be balanced around the elite.

    Mid tier players are almost unkillable with this skill.
    I run a stat based, 25k health Stamden build in BGs. I'm not built around cheese or this skill... and I can pull shenanigans around this ability all day long.

    Combine this ability with all these cheesey proc/high health builds and it carries scrubs.
    Probably more than any single skill in the game.

    Pvp and pve are balanced together. That's the way of this game.

    [snip] Take a look at the thread, rarely is there a nerf on a class that people on the forum will actively speak out and support.

    How often do you get a team that does 100k dps if that's even possible in bg? That heal may not work in that situation, but so does any other classes or skills so I guess we can all turn a blind eye on how imbalance the classes are just because we all die to the best players in a second, nice logic.

    20% reduction to Arctic Wind heal is way too much. It's not a big heal even on a high health build.

    I can't remember the last time I saw a 20% nerf to a single class ability. Even at 10% that's pretty harsh.

    Add this to a 50% reduction in upcoming health regen and that's going to kill a whole swag of Warden builds outright.

    Not good enough. Buff other classes instead of destroying people's builds.

    Meanwhile... the class-defining Necromancer passive is getting nerfed by 60%.

    This Warden tune-up is peanuts in comparison to that.

    Warden could use a skill audit overall.

    The animal tree is a mess, winter/nature has a few gimmicky skills and needs to focus more on the discipline of those roles they represent.

    This is not a "I want a Warden nerf" post, I main a support Warden.

    The nerf problem is exactly that. Though I hate them nerfing my Crystal Blast (I think that was it) on my pet sorc the most.

    I am having fun building my Wardens now, but that is because they can do a lot and they solo well. I still can't/haven't done VMA and such (or even MA for that matter), so I am definitely not OP.

    How about the single player builds who ran around in the PvP City in that last event and could not be killed, even when several were attacking. Talk about something to nerf....

    People act like this will now heal for 3k in pve lol.

    It's still going to be a MASSIVE heal on a pve tank. The skill will be fine for tanks.

    Necro passive execute just got nerfed by 60%

    Like everyone in the thread said, wardens were overtuned and in my opinion this single ability still do too much. They should remove damage/stun part too so it would be in line with other abilities. You want to see stupid nerf?     I've mained magblade since 2014. Not new.

    7 years is a long time. 20% nerfs are big. I barely touch magwarden.

    the "burst" heal in pvp on 29 k is about 3k health. If you think that's the reason they're beating you then I can't elaborate.

    That's 2 ticks of my rally.

    That would be true and is why all these nerfs for PvP are completely annoying. Some PvP is almost required for certain gear and such.

    Cant remember? I can! Last patch, Templars Dark flare was hit by a 21% dmg reduction.
