I do not care that there are Bears and fantastical mounts in ESO. I think they all have fairly decent lore explanations.

Mammoths are actually fairly grounded all things considered, Elephants were used in War

No use for 2 player mounts. See no sense in it and would just purchase one if its really really cool looking to place in a house as the main monster or sth.

2 Seaters may not be for everyone, but there are certainly uses for;

-Head-canon/roleplaying purposes two poor knights (or what have you) on a horse works well.

-For situations where your 'Player 2' Leveled up all their crafting and learned all traits before you - - - but still doesn't have a maxed out Mount ... Then a mount that seats two is helpful.
(I know I'll be demanding my mate to jump on - they seem to neglect their mounts. Smh)

-It's also helpful when considering guild events; when there may be noobs who want to Skyshard hunt with a group, but don't have a maxed out mount; where as the ones hosting the events do have maxed mounts - if those with higher speed mounts could pair with noobies it'd save some time.

They were actually supposed to release a 2 seater mount back....was it with Skyrim or Elsweyr? There was a test one on the test server that was a double seated mechanized spider...thing O_o Did it ever get put into the game?

In either case, I was gonna come up with an idea....but then I saw this and realized its all I've ever wanted in a 2 seater mount...or...any mount for that matter. The roman aesthetic would even work with the imperials in game I want this for real XD

I heard somewhere that the double seater mount was causing problems with the game's anti-bot software. Kind of funny that a mount would be mistaken for a bot farmer and yet the actual bot farmers are running rampant in every base game zone.

However this Lyris as an mount came up from time to time, and yes this can be interpreted lots of ways
Like an rickshaw, however carts will not work well as both it and draft animal need to stay on the ground most of the time.
And we ride like crazy, air time is no issue at all as long as we don't die.

It was an two person mount in the Greymoor PTS, it got people banned from the game as the anti cheat system thought they was bots.
Don't hold your breath, Khajiit tail turfs and Argonian tail spikes was crown items in the Morrowind PTS, it had some issues with texture maps and we are still waiting, an Khajiit at the Solitude dock has an tail turf.

No. During testing it caused the passenger to get banned. I think it's been speculated to have triggered a false positive on a cheat, like some kind of speed-hack?

I guess we get to be the new mounts, since we have to carry our companions and their gear. Might as well give them a piggy-back ride while we're at it. LOL
