PS4 Extremely Frustrating Bugs After Today's Patch

The Sell screen in the guild store now does not allow scrolling, making it impossible to list items without typing the name.

Selling items to the merchant doesn't remove them from the screen. It sells but it still appears there making it very confusing to anyone who can't see what the game is doing.

This is just what I've experienced the first few minutes on the game. I really try to be supportive of the team but how much longer are we going to have to deal with these extremely frustrating issues? Seemingly every update doesn't deliver fixes it's supposed to and we have to wait a long time for any fixes on current and new issues.

Yes and you cannot scroll up amd down in the crafting bag and the guild history is still showing 624 months....

What a mockery of the players, as much as possible, no matter how much the update, so surely something breaks in the game. Maybe it's time to start firing employees for such a disgusting attitude to work?

Same on Xbox. If you scroll within the craft bag, then swap tabs out and back in, it’ll show where you scrolled to lol

They do test it (cause of last 2 extended patches...)

The 'fix' for guild roster hasn't worked. Craft bag is borked. Can't list items for sale in traders without RB and LB and doing the hokey cokey. This game at the moment, I'm surprised so many people (including myself) continue to play.

Truly at a loss. How can we be patient where week after week it breaks, now even the most simple functions are bust?

I'm not ready to quit, but I'm getting pushed out and that really, really sucks.

We would have been better with no patch at all this time.

At least the banker while super duper slow, did its job.

This is much, much worse than that. Smh.

ESO is a pretty big game and a comprehensive test using manual and automated testing would take hours. I have always been under the impression that they focus testing on what has changed. That explains the pile of regressions that we always see.

I had a weird bug where the game spammed me Voice Chat Changed to Area messages.

Of course, they are also "working" on the introduction of a new currency and the further transformation of the game into a donated trash heap.

Xbox console to, extremely frustrating when the fixes break more things.
Merchant Asistant removes items when sold, just does not update visually.
Craft bag, you can't scroll the item menus, you have to use search to find specific item.

I'm really just so confused how this gets pushed through. Anyone playing the game within 2 minutes immediately sees these massive issues.

Sounds like they 'fixed' the code, but didn't actually do any regression testing at all on the inventory system.

But hey, we can pull stuff out of our banker fast now.

I wasn't sure anything would make me want a return to the 3-6 second lag of inventory, but...

... uh, basically being inventory-crippled entirely is one way.

Not just PS4. Having the same issue of being unable to scroll in the craft bag, and when items are sold to a merchant they are not removed from the list of inventory items (although you do receive gold and the count of items is decreased by 1). Exiting the merchant and going back in shows the item is gone.

Seriously though - how is basic stuff like this not caught?

You do know, Zos, that there are oodles & oodles of players out there that would be happy to log in & test this stuff for you to see if it actually worked/hadn’t broken something else?

I would do it for free just to stop the utter frustration.

Guess we know why they preemptively cancelled the free eso+ trial... but rolled out broken update anyways

Nah they just broke that too, basically you'd sign up for it and it would break your game

No they do not. I don't believe there is one console in the building.

But they know what they set out to fix, they could focus on that.
What they changed is what is not working.
