It's not that I'm sexist or anything but as a man I play with a male character, like always. Now they are making me buy fancy dresses for my to-be companion Mirri. I just busted my membership crowns after this stream. Honestly this is a low blow on a poor man's wallet...

btw, I would appreciate a sload companion in the future

Lol, why? From what little we know of her, she seems to me to be the type who would wear practical adventuring gear rather than flouncing after you in a fancy dress (not that there’s anything wrong with dressing any characters or companions in fancy clothes). Plus the outfit station offers lots of options.

But I’m pretty sure you posted this as a joke and there are some very nice feminine costumes available that aren’t expensive either. I think the Balmorra holiday costume was the first I bought when I started ESO (I play both male and female characters and like for each to have their own look).

I would prefer to have skeletal, Xivkyn or Scarecrow companion I can't get those at all, even while owning all polymorphs.

I have six female characters. They currently wear:

• The Priestess of Mara costume that was given away free as a log-in award.
• The Dark Seducer costume that is given away free as a leveling reward. (One undyed, one dyed gold.)
• The Golden Saint costume that is given away free as a leveling reward (partly dyed red).
• The costume (designed for a man) that is given away free as a Thieves Guild quest reward.
• An outfit based on the Draugr style (dyed red).

So:

• Two dresses.
• One pantsuit.
• Three -- well, not as extreme as the "chainmail bikini" trope, but somewhat in that direction.

To dress up companions you can use all the costumes on your collections (daily login rewards already gave us a few dresses over time) and you can also use all the motifs pages you've collected on an outfit station.
