It technically is an ongoing Xbox issue. It's an ongoing issue for all platforms, that was my initial point. I'm not bashing Playstation at all, I was arguing the OP clearly stating there's some Playstation discrimination going on, which is pretty bogus to claim. ZOS wouldn't undermine an entire platform intentionally, that takes revenue away, regardless of who owns them now. That's why I asked why these guys are taking this so personally, this isn't a platform specific problem.

In all seriousness I 100% hear what you're saying...but you got to admit its quite funny and or coincidental since Sony and Microsoft are console competitors and now they own Zenimax Studios (fr fr...how many articles have you read or came across since that had the the sky is falling for PS users now that Bethesda is under Microsoft ownership<--is it bs 99% chance it is but it stirs the pot). When its the forums you know claims like this are absolutely bound to get posted. Poking a little fun is all part of it.

Also, we all know some can overreact but like someone stated earlier regardless if ZOS reads or cares what's written in these agitated posts its a place to vent a bit. Having others come in a tell somebody who is clearly upset to calm down or go to PC or argue their "outlandish" discriminative claims just kind of stirs the pot...but then again that's the forums right? I mean look at the R.I.P. PC EU thread... 100+ pages of agitation...I feel their pain too.

However currently on Xbox, menus are lagging to the extreme and there's 50% chance the game will freeze when you access any bank or trader. Considering these are crucial aspects of gameplay, this utterly refutes the idea that ZOS is showing favoritism towards Xbox. The game may be more broken on PS, but it's still broken on Xbox.

Your implied correlation is that it's ZOS fault the game doesn't work well live despite having internally tested it and it running fine. Clearly the issue today has to deal with some kind of problem caused by PSN itself and the game, something that wouldn't show up on an internal test.

The game never runs fine...ever. Sometimes it is less buggy than other times, but it is never 100% fine.

It is not silly or without merit to think that a company will not care as much about their competitor as themselves. This is a natural part of competition. Nobody made the claim that they are purposefully sabotaging Playstation.

I don't know, I'm starting to come to a different conclusion: Sony doesn't want competitors on their platform, taking money out of their pocket. I mean, all one has to do is swap MS with Sony, and it's exactly the same conspiracy theory, only given what I know about Sony, it's a lot more plausible. I mean, I had to replace a HDD in my computer because of Sony's rootkit fiasco, all for just playing a CD. So if I were to cosign any conspiracy theories on this, I'd be laying the blame at Sony's feet. Isn't it odd, don't ya' think, that these issues would start now, after MS acquired ZoS?

So they convolute their backend even more, to make their customers rage quit. Makes perfect sense to me.

Just to throw my two cents using- no PlayStation users will not be screwed over, and people are reading into these outages too deeply.

It's already been confirmed that ESO is getting a PS5 upgrade, and I highly doubt ESO will do anything to purposefully disenfranchise its PlayStation player base, especially as it brings in alot of money.

Looking further ahead, Elder Scrolls 6 will be such a big money spinner that it will definitely be on PS5. As for Starfield, that could be XBOX exclusive, but depending on how fat through its development it is, it may be that it will be for PS5 too.

Could we see patches / DLC for Microsoft first? Yes very likely, but this has been going for years with other companies. Its just how video game companies work.

Folk blaming MS lol. This game has been a joke on PS for well over a year now. Low textures, awful draw distance, loading issues, issues logging in, blue screens galore, server issues etc etc. This time tomorrow or the next day some of you PS gamers will be back on these very forums staunchly defending the overpriced fluff in the CS like some of you do. The relevance? If you keep ploughing money into this game blindly ZoS can and will drag their heels sorting the PS issues out.

I've not given this company a penny of my cash for close to a year now and have zero intention of doing so until they sort their **** out with this game. Giving them even a penny is telling them this game is worth supporting in its current state on the PS4.

As ESO was pre-Microsoft acquisition I don’t see how Microsoft would get any revenue whatsoever from any property before the agreement. That’s like a company saying they’re entitled to profits despite having done no work to gain it.

Business-wise it’s smarter to do profit splits with anything post consolidation and separate anything from before that as just Zenimax profits. They’re still two companies, not one. Zenimax was not absorbed into Microsoft. Books need to be kept separate.

I'm not disagreeing. Rather I am pointing out it makes little sense for MS to screw over(directly or indirectly) PS ZOS paying customers post-acquisition. MS's history with other multiplatform companies such as Rare and Mojang shows evidence of this.

Its been awful on PC too. The cyrodil issue wasn't console only. The light attack bug wasn't console only.

Whatever zos did they did *only* to PS players and whether or not it was intentional, the timing is awfully suspect.
