    It's fine it is.

I started playing about a year ago, and for first few months I was obliterated by bosses of every overland story and died several times before killing them.

I see a lot of people looking at the difficulty from their veteran perspective with great gear and knowledge of the game. I don't die at bosses and more, I can solo a dungeon, I learnt how things work. But I still remember dying to bosses in a story. If the devs make it harder, some newbies simply won't be able to progress and quit.

And before you say "ask for help": if you're a newbie, you may not have any friends, and considering the general toxicity in games these day, you may not want to ask strangers, and you have no gold to pay them for help, if they want that.

And from my perspective today: if all I want to do is pick flowers and chop wood today, I shouldn't have to go through mini-boss difficulty mobs to do that.

Leave the difficulty overland as it is.

Glory to you and your Dunmer House!

oh please make this game more challenging. the overworld is too easy, there is almost no risk. every. single. zone. I totally get the idea that some zones should be safe for new and casual players, but at least have zones that are wrought with untold danger. I love the beauty of nature. I don't like having to go into dank dark places to find danger. I wish there was much more danger in some of the overworld zones.

do you play the game when it still have VR level ?, when craglorn still this dangerous land to explore ?, no one likes it, at all, craglorn like this empty space of land, its waste of memory and data

the truth is, people don't like challanging overland, challenging trials and dungeon?, sure, because its enclosed and short space, but overland when enemy are hitting hard and bullet sponge all over the place, attacking you every 5 seconds, yeah, no one likes that

I voted no, because the natural conclusion is the nerfing of playing stats to "pad" difficulty.

Combat will not be more "intelligent or complicated", players will just get nerfed and NPCs health buffed.

Rather just kill it in 3 secs and move on than spend 2 mins on a NPC and gives 690XP.

There are several ways to make the game harder for yourself, but you don't get credit for it, that's your problem right?
Remember that most players have a life, and are not elitist.
If you are a fan of crazy and hard mechanics, love to stress and wipe for hours, then maybe you should try a game like BnS, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. (yes it's p2w)

The problem with harder overland content is that overland is already the lowest common denominator type content that needs to be accessible to all skill and experience levels.

The default way to make it "harder" while not excluding new and inexperienced players is to make it have more health, which really just makes it more annoying and grindy. Building it harder mechanics or making enemies hit harder will just be a total turn off for new and inexperienced players who won't understand why every mob in the world instantly kills them.

When I am in the Overland I want to get done what I need to do, not spend all my time waylaid by mobs that don't threaten me and take forever to kill.

No, as there is no reason to upset the natural flow through the game. A natural flow which exists in all MMO's. Overland is not easy for newer players, especially those new to MMO's.

The game only seems easy to experienced players as we know what sets to wear, what skills to use, how to sustain resources, how to use potions/food, we know a rotation, and how exactly combat works(blocking/interrupt/dodge). Even previous MMO, or gaming experience plays a major factor.

I started recently with ESO and for me, out of the MMOs I know, it's by far the most difficult. I don't whish - at all - to see it becoming even more challenging. I struggle enough the way it is now. But I'm a newbie and a slow learner. Maybe it's different for someone playing since long and who has done everything of the content. Sorry, can talk for me only... o:)
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA

I agree but I'm not talking about combat. I'm talking about putting arrows on everything that you need to find. Investigate this, find this. No problem, there are arrows on everything. Recently they even made crafting easier this way.

DLC Delves need an more difficulty and higher rewards.
DLC Quest bosses need higher difficulty and higher rewards.
DLC Public dungeons need higher difficulty and higher rewards.
Why is it that solo gameplay is pumped out and ignored, and 12man gameplay gets regularly updated with multiple (3) levels of difficulty, and tons and tons of meta sets? Also, there is no good practice for vet DLC content because everything else is easy nonsense, which is why most people will never ever set foot in vet DLC trials.

but than when people simply ask for the things I mentioned everyone just goes "meh no one plays craglorn". Ask yourself why that is for a moment, I'll give you a second

BECAUSE THERES NO POINT. I mean look at Skyreach, everyone levels there, because why? Its rewarding.

Trying not to perma die (perma ban) is the hardest accomplishment in this game.

Please nerf it. People abuse the power.

Somehow, some way someone will completely dismiss the numbers and still claim the game is doomed because of how easy overland is, despite most players clearly not wanting a harder overland nor wanting resources wasted on one.

Don't you just LOVE it when you're chopping wood and picking flowers, and all the sudden a FLIPPING DRAGON comes and chomps your head? (sarcasm)

But for real, I would absolutely HATE having to hunt nodes while being attacked by heavy hitters. So, again, no thanks on the hardmode.

(UNLESS it's an OPTIONAL toggle hardmode and/or OPTIONAL hardmode server. Then all the "hard mode please" people can go off and have fun and leave the rest of us to our regularly scheduled program)

They may try, but it's not just the numbers on this poll that show what players think. It's also the fact that veteran overland was removed with One Tamriel because it didn't go over well with the player base. So there is more evidence that players are fine with things just as they are than not.
