No the bosses is for all, yes some might prefer to kill them solo but most are just happy for the help.marshill88 wrote: »top 12? oh that is good to know. If someone jumps in just to kill last student causing respawn I rather leave that fight then start all over again.

I'm happy for every helpful hero, when I have to fight a world boss.
Even if I drained his hp to 5 percent, please join in if you want

But then I wondered, does this behavior make veteran players mad if some noob comes along and piggybacks off their kill?
@marshill88 Just keep in mind that the minor world bosses (The ones with the map icon of a skull with two crossed swords) only the top twelve players will get loot.
For "events" like harrowstorms, or dolmen (etc) everyone gets loot.
My advice, see a boss fight going down, join in and have fun! That is what they are there for.

The damn thing about the fire bender is that he's dead easy if you understand the mechanics. If not, unless you can burn him down before the first shield phase happens, he's an insta wipe.

I don't know...he really isn't hard even if you don't know mechs. I soloed him first time on my tank/DPS hybrid just fine ignoring his mechs the entire time. The key is simply that he is deadly to DPS glass cannon builds that don't understand his mechs. If you build a more balanced character, he is tricky but you don't have to pay attention to mechs to beat him. Of course almost no one builds balanced characters in this game except off-tanks or DPS-healer hybrids, after all balanced characters aren't the best for anything...but they do great for open world play and this boss is one where they can win much easier than a pure DPS toon. Kind of a moot point these days though, the new CP system has shoehorned people into specialization more than they already did.
