Ok, guys, hi, I'd like to know what do you think about about night and morning caping in Cyrodill and what would be possible solutions to this issue?

This is an internationally played game which includes many people from different parts of the world whom all play, sleep and work at different hours of different time zones so I don't believe there's a problem to be solved.

ZOS could assign the period that is daytime for you as the only valid time when players are allowed to capture keeps and resources. During your night time, players may only attack other players in field battles, collect skyshards or fish.

    Solution is easy:

    Play at night

Every other solution throws away the achievements and gameplay options of people in other time zones.

    Another solution:

Retake the keeps. Its not hard.

There is, because It's european players, not some players from exotic lands, eso is basicaly rewarding pv door activities with unearned buffs, unearned ap points, unearned emperorship, you name it. It's unfair to prime times players, and because ad is morning caping for 6 years it's still doesn't make it right. Create a prime time campaign, problem solved. All I really want is fair play. Ep and Ad should earn their ap, fight for scrolls and keeps and not be rewarded for scamming the scoring with their pv door activities. But I would like a straight answer from Eso, are you going to make this game a fair play for all involved or not. Otherwise it's a waste of time and money to play this biased game.

There is no Oceanic server so Aussies and others have to play mostly on the NA server.

    Prime time is at night.
People work mostly during the day.
So how can that be fair?

Fair play isn't locking somebody out or making anything they do impotent in your preferred campaign just because they can't play during your local time zone. That's actually the opposite of fairness. Also pvdoor is just a phrase used by hurt people to insult somebody so lets be mature. Do you expect somebody to get to a keep and knock on the door to confirm somebody is there before they proceed with sieging?

Nope, it's deliberate and organized, so lets be mature, it's not really ad or ep, they are justdoing what eso allows, but basicaly this pv door thingie is killing pvp, causing dc to log off and leave campaign, it's harrasment and bullying enabled by zos with their no rules game

So every night (standard european time ) 20 to 30 ep people just log on, coz they just happen to play at exactly 30 minutes past midnight, zerg the empty map and log off, then the same repeats with the morning ad show, except ad keeps the map the whole day. They know nobody is there, both aliances, all you really have to do is check the bars, you don't need to knock:)))

LMAO so, because no everyone is on the same schedule, timezone etc you want others to not be able to play during their "prime time" because it doesn't match up with yours? lol seems legit...and how exactly is it scamming? I hate pvdoor (its boring) and could care less about score, but I understand, not everyone plays on the smae schedule...night caps are going to happen, have been since launch and wil until the servers shut down...ps...you get more ap fighting your way out of your gates ..just saying

    Problem:
PvDoor (night / morning cap) provides too much potential points and affects campaign's score boards too much. As a result, PvE activity (fighting only vs npcs) decides who wins a PvP campaign and who gets best PvP rewards.

Obviously, it should be the other way around. I mean it is not a rocket science to determine that PvP activity should decide who wins PvP campaign.

    Solution:
Find a way to minimize the effect that PvDoor (night / morning cap) has on three faction's score board.

There are plenty of ways to do so, but I think the best way would be make "potenial points" to scale with population.

    How could that work ?

The moment one faction captures other faction's objective (keep, outpost, city, resource etc.), the game will check population of two factions and compare them:
    - If those are more or less similar, nothing will happen.
    - If there will be a greater difference in population and faction that captures an objective will have greater numbers, vs defending faction - they will receive less potenial points.
    - The greater population differences - the bigger the penalty gets. So it could be 2x, 3x, 5x, or even 10x less potential points.
    - In the most drastic scenario (one faction is locked and the other is empty), each enemy objective captured will provide 10x less points - meaning that you will have to capture for example 10 resources in order to get 1 point.
    - The way to "reset" it would be to lose & re-take objective when population difference is smaller or populations are more or less equall.
    - This will not affect your faction's "native" objectives (home keeps, outposts, city, resources etc.). For owning those, you will get normal potenial points, no matter the population difference.
    - AP reward for capturing objectives won't be affected by this, only potenial points that contribute to final scoreboards.
    - This change might require to re-scale the population bar (so we would have at least 10 bar population ui indicator).

dying in a pvp game isnt bullying, tbagging is and has been for a long time part of pvp games.....there are people who actually get bullied in game and irl, and throwing that word around is a diservice to them...Is tbagging annoying? yep..Are whispers sometimes not nice? yep...but a whsiper after a death is not harrassment..if it has a pattern and is on going , maybe..but the dude that kills bags and whispers, though maybe a jerk, is not a harrasing bully, unless it continues and follows a pattern. I get that getting zerged sucks, but maybe not let the bags bother you? maybe block the whisperers? I dunno, maybe it will help you enjoy the game more...but yeah again as I stated and as you originally stated, night capping and being out numbered is not bullying

That time is early evening in NA, so any people from NA that play on the EU server would be logging in at that time.

Just get some people in your alliance that play from the same time zone and have them be there too to fight them.

There is no restriction on which alliance can log on at what time. Find some night owls to fight for you.

Easy. The amount of AvAvA points earned is proportional to the number of people online. That way every person's potential impact on the score is the same regardless of when are where they play from.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

I love how people fail to grasp that an international game, which has only an NA and an EU server can't technically have a "prime time" as that would be different for each player depending on where they are in the world.

For example, if you have players on your server who are in Sydney, Australia (UTC+11) then their prime time would be around 08:00 UTC (morning). Does that mean they shouldn't be able to PvP because that doesn't fit in with your schedule?

And making a campaign just for them? why? It's an INTERNATIONAL game, and if players in time zones opposite to my own want to play in the main/most populated campaign who are we to say no.

I say this as a DC player who has commonly been on the end of being steamrolled Xv1 by an early morning (my time) Aussie crew.

Dark Flare is the Beginning, Radiant is the End. Hail the Light Bringers!
