✭Yea me too..had enough for the just purchased 3 Mother's Sorrow pieces since Juliano's got trashed. I blew 20 improving on one piece since I'd automatically gotten used to needing 8...when I'd bought 24 to handle all three...so I'm screwed for now.0 -

friendly advice, in the future, put this in zone chat. 9/10 times someone will respond, instead of going to the forums. Sorry if this sounds passive aggressive, but yeh, that's what I do. Zone chat actually is a great source of information, especially in popular zones such as craglorn/deeshan/chapter zones.5 -

✭✭Somewhere around the end of 2016, I improved my two Leki's daggers to gold... right after resetting my crafting passives
Only after it was done, I noticed that I have just a few Alloys left for some reason.
In loving memory of those 40 Tempering Alloys, I've been using these daggers as two-piece set on my main character ever since.1 -
SirTreb✭✭"increase your chance" doesn't actually scream "reduce amount needed"
Because it doesn't reduce the amount needed, which is one temper. Each additional temper gives a % increase of chance to succeed. You didn't have to use 20 tempers, you could have used 1 for a 5% chance of success.
If you increase that % per temper, less are needed to reach 100%.1 -

That’s absolutely true; you can reduce the amount of tempers used and take a chance on losing the item and the tempers completely.0
