What would you say is the most prestigous Title for Dungeon's and PvP?

For Trials people usually point to one of the same three titles:

• Godslayer
• Tick-Tock Tormenter
• Gryphon Heart

For overworld people usually point to the "Master Angler" title

What would you say is the most prestious PvP Title? Emperor? The Merciless? Siegemaster?

What would you say is the most prestigous Dungeon title? True Genius? Frozen Treasure Hunter? Bane of Thorns?

Also what titles would you like to see added to the game and what would you have to do to earn them? (Keep this on civilized please)

For PvP I like Chaos Champion (has a cool ring to it) and for dungeons/trials Unchained, True Genius, Tick-Tock, Gryphon Heart and Godslayer are pretty cool ones

True Genius for Dungeons, also older titles like Guardian of the Green, Hircine's Champion.

For PVP, the titles that I've seen some vet players proudly display are the Chaos ones (Keeper, Guardian). The Merciless and Siegemaster are easy to get.

Dungeon titles aren't that impressive IMO. For PvP all Chaos titles are cool, the rest is either easy or can be cheesed.

Emperor is the best PvP title, because it means you're actually the Emperor. Former Emperor is pretentious and pretty common, not worn by most former Emperors. Most wear Volunteer or Recruit.

This and that my Volunteer is a custom title so it works both ways but I have an addon that cycles through a select bunch every 5 seconds

I'm still holding onto my Flawless Conquerer title. Not sure if it's still the best of the best but it's a solo arena title so there is no carries for that.

This is why I'm chasing Of The Undying Song. 👍 (Spirit Slayer is a bit boring imo and requires less of a time investment, even if it's technically harder to get on account of the trifecta requirements of the former being split up.)

Dungeon titles are pretty subjective, but as far as four man content goes, two that stand out currently as far as the difficulty associated with them are the Unchained title from Blackrose Prison and True Genius from Stone Garden. There are any variety of titles that are impressive though. Storm Foe, Bonecaller's Bane, Guardian of the Green, etc., come to mind. And there are those that sound very impressive as well imo, such as Purified Devastator, Alpha Predator, Pinnacle of Evolution, and so on. It's all subjective to what you think sounds desirable there. For pvp... personally I think Grand Overlord and Bloodletter are the coolest.

The Merciless title sounds really badass, but sadly I know how it's earned - by killing total newbies or weaker people in Battlegrounds. So I don't use this title on any of my characters
Gryphon Heart is the only title which mentions Griffons in ESO. I absolutely love Griffons in GW2, and I would love to have flying mount in ESO. But I don't quite like the wording in this title... If I wanted to fly on a Griffon and have matching title on my character, I would love something like "on wings of freedom" or "Bird of Prey"

My main character was Master Angler very long time ago. Then she got Forge Breaker title in 2018. It was the only time I got a pug team capable of doing hard mode in that dungeon She is using that title ever since My most dear title so far.

Also what titles would you like to see added to the game and what would you have to do to earn them?

I like simple titles, but I have too many ideas and can't list them all here...
Beast title could be perfect for my werewolves, could be earned by becoming rank 10 werewolf.
Grim Reaper title could be earned by Dark Brotherhood's achievement.
Creeping Hunger (like the quest name, but not related) title could be earned by werewolf's achievement for eating certain amount of corpses.
Warlock title could be earned as male version of Witch title.
Oathbreaker title could be earned by any means really, I always wanted to have such cool title There is even achievement with same name in Falkreath Hold which could award this title


I wish they got rid of titles (changed the wording) where I am somebody's Champion... I feel like I'm participating in Olympics for somebody, it's hilarious The only title with same meaning which sounds cool is Boethia's Scythe - I use that on my stamplar for 3 years already, and it makes her feel like Holy Scythe of evil god Perfect! I would never use this title if it was Boethia's Champion. I'm glad that writers got creative with this title, because Boethia does call me her Champion at the end of the arena

I use Master Angler on my character, it's not a difficult title to earn, just a long, long slog with patience needed. Took me around 6 months of a few hours a week fishing.

I have the Merciless, and flawless.. those are pretty easy to get in that they don't really require 3-12 other people.

The most impressive trial titles are the ones you mentioned and I ll agree with that. My best trial title is Sunspire Saint, dont think I ll be ever getting one of those.

For dungeons, I think the hardest to get right now is True Genius but even if I managed to get it, I wouldnt use it cause I dont like how it sounds. I use Plague of Peryite on my Stamcro, which fits the theme and Forger Breaker on my tank cause it sounds cool. Nice title is also Guardian of the Green and I am planning on getting it sometime in the future on my ice magden.

For PVP I think the coolest sounding title is Bloodletter. Emperor is hard to get cause it requires a lot of effort.

For PVE, Flawless Conqueror is also pretty nice and Spirit Slayer. The first one sounds better, although I think the second one requires more skill to get (have both, Flawless is 50% RNG).

For overland, I think Master Angler is the best. Murkmire Prepper is also pretty nice because you must be a true hero to do the most boring ESO daily quests x 150 times.

Since you can buy title runs, any of them are worthless past just wanting a title RP wise for a character. I guess Master Angler you at least work for yourself.

I like Flawless Conquerer myself and that’s what I use on my main - prior to getting it I didn’t roll a title at all. Since vMA dropped it’s been the one title I thought I’d use if I ever got it. But I have to say, it doesn’t have the prestige it used to have.

I always liked Alpha Predator. Cool name and not THAT easy to get even now.

For PVP, recruit or volunteer always get respect- bonus points for rolling them during PvP events 😆 Half of Cyro are Former Emperor or Grand Overland nowadays it seems so idk about the prestige.

To me, two of the most impressive titles are Grand Overlord and Grandmaster Crafter.

As for the dungeon and trial ones, there are so many and without looking them up, I have no idea which are for simply completing content on the easiest level (Cloudrest Hero, for example) as versus meeting certain conditions (speed, no deaths, etc.) at vet level. So if I have the option, I like to choose titles that fit the character, impressive or no. Some will be a challenge while others just take time, but it’s something else to work toward.

Chaos Champion is the most difficult to obtain among BG titles, and possibly the entire game, unless you're very lucky in beginner MMRs. It's possible you could get it on your first ever BG though, so it's hard to compare it in difficulty to PvE titles. It's more a matter of luck than most titles are, at least for solo queue.

Grand overlord is just a time commitment, and anyone who plays for a decent period of time (skilled or unskilled) can get it. Emp can be... cheesed...but thats the most impressive pvp one imo.

The unfortunate thing about PvP Titles and achievements is they don't really tie in with PvP gameplay.

Grand Overlord and Emperor/Empress you can get by just attacking doors. The BG ones at all objective based and whilst some are tricky, they are mostly time consuming.

Play enough and you'll get them, essentially. With the exception of maybe "The Merciless" and "Battleground Butcher", but again they aren't hard to get.

This is why trifecta achievements are the most highly regarded imo, they require a perfect (or there abouts) run of the content by not only you, but the whole group.

Pale Order ruined Flawless Conquerer imo. Whether you used it or not there's no way to tell from the title.

I only use titles for two of my characters. Only one is a PVP title. My main wears Scoundrel because I like it but I also have a level 3 sNecro that wears the title Tyro.

Nothing compares to "Murkmire Prepper" the rest just bow out to it's greatness.
