I will use the weapon dmg buff on a high elf char, but I still don't really agree with the patch doing this. not bc high elf gets the weapon dmg as well as all the other good buffs that high elf has but it seems a lil weird now that it's like. oh bc dunmer was mixed stat passives n has both spell/weapon dmg everyone else with spell or weapon dmg should have both! like. Ok. so. what about bretons having stam regen or redguards/wood elf having mag regen? argonian and khajiit have tristat regen, high elf has stam/mag regen. (various ways of doing so but still a lil boost to regen) thats just what I dont really get with making this change?

Yeah I’m a bit unsure of this change. On one hand it doesn’t really change the meta status of races and just maybe opens up some off meta options for those races, but then as you say what about the remaining more “pure” stam/mag races of redguard, breton, and bosmer. I guess redguard and bosmer already have minor off stat application due to reduced weapon skill cost of Redguard affecting staves and bosmer getting spell pen, but that’s not much. Could we now have redguard a restoring stam or mag, depending on the damage type done, or maybe bretons get mag and stam cost reduction. I mean if ZOS are giving away off meta stats to races, why not? Does seem weird though.

Besides, what is the harm? It's not like Orcs are suddenly BiS for magDPS. Or High Elves for stamDPS.

Giving WPD on High elf with the other change to the resource passive makes it a hella of a race for PVP or even Werewolves, but ofc I can't expect people *** have no clue how PvP works to understand this.

Just putting it out there: I feel that Redgaurds's hybrid potential is underrated. The stamina regen on my Redguard hybrid DK is very useful and I doubt that I would be able to sustain without it. It's going to be even better with the regen proccing off ANY damage, rather than only direct damage now. Part of winning in PVP is being mobile. Not only do Redgaurds get snare reduction but light armor also gives snare reduction, so my Redgaurd is pretty swift. My main issue is being too squishy in light armor.
