It doesn't even make sense for it to be on Vvardenfell, tbh.
Besides, it's a Daedric ruin. Part of the appeal of Daedric ruins is the sinister music.
Yes it does. TES3 is still the only game that actually had Daedric Ruins. Not sure if you'd played but essentially the dark elves used to worship the daedric princes (namely, Azura) before the Tribunal so it has a big cult presence. Two things related to this. First of all, I hope this doesn't mean we're not going to see another vvardenfell house for 5+ years because this house doesn't feel like Morrowind other than the red mountain which could have been any volcano. Second, there were actually a ton of dwarven ruins in the red mountain which makes sense because the dwarves were there before the tribunal. Dunmer style dwarvern would have made A LOT more sense. Probably too late for that now...
My one suggestion would be to move the portal that is to the right of the enterance so its not in the center of the structure. It literally makes it impossible to do anything within that structure. To be entirely honest, I wish you'd just remove those two portals because they're useless - if people want quicker access they could put a bridge down pretty easily. Anyways....at the very least, would anyone be opposed to moving the portal over to the edge of the cliff so its out of the way and we can actually use the structure..... please? You should also move the other portals closer to the edge of the cliff but that's not as big of a deal. The portal in the overlook is fine - it's nice and out of the way.

Could it be moved to the mainland, somewhere? It's not appropriate to have it on Vvardenfell, since the Daedric ruins there have long been established. It would make more sense for it to be in Deshaan, or Stonefalls.
This is an established Daedric ruin. It appeared in TES3 under the name Assalkushalit. A small daedric ruin dedicated to Sheogorath.
It's cool to see some new house styles being utilized and they look cool but I kind of wish they were smaller. A medium or small sized cavern home would be more welcome, it's been years since we last got a house of that size. And we never got a ruin/cave style smaller home, like ever.
My argument was that it didn't make sense for it to be there because the ruins on Vvardenfell are already established, name-wise. If they are trying to portray Assalkushalit, then they should rename the ruin to "Assalkushalit Sanctuary"
It'd be better for it to be in Stonefalls, per my previous post:BlissfulDelusions wrote: »I do like the Kushalit Sanctuary, HOWEVER!

Whether you revere this Daedric Prince or want a home nestled in Red Mountain, this portal-ridden sanctuary can be yours!'Cygemai_Hlervu wrote: »What a familiar place that Kushalit Sanctuary is! If it is the place I'm thinking of, it can be a Sheogorath themed one, indeed, Bluebird. Assalkushalit, a Daedric shrine dedicated to Sheogorath and located on the northern slope of Red Mountain is a place of the Nerevarine's possible passage in 3E 427. The house will be located inside the Ghostfence in 741 years, below is it's picture from future. Does the Kushalit's interior somehow correspond to the one of the Assalkushalit's one?It isn't really Shaeogorath 'themed' as such. There is 1 Sheo statue furnishing that can be freely (re)moved. If anything, the red portals and volcanic area (since the house is inside Red Mountain) give more Boethia or Dagon vibes than Sheo. The daedric ruins are Sheogorath themed of all things so my idea to make it an ashlander home are bust.
I think this house was meant more as a Chimer house than Ashlander (for that, I would have expected a yurt here and there or one of those shell-houses). But there is enough area outside around the volcano that you can set up an Ashlander village with the Vvardenfell achievement furniture. You can also expand the buildable surface over the lava by adding boulders or platforms (the ancient Elsweyr stone platform is big enough and worn enough to be a decent match I think).
Also, you can actually walk on the hardened lava without incurring damage, and it's quite a large area there too. There is a lot of outside space even if you want to ignore the daedric structures. Could build something fun for sure. Here's a quick ashlander village mock-up (just quickly thrown together as an example with other races furnishings - obviously you'd want to use the ashlander yurts and boundary-totems and thrones and such, I just can't get those on NA character copies). That's a pity, really. Where are they located, by the way? On that island north of Vvardenfell?
In the loading screen description? Sure.
Shouldn't be too hard to give it that as the actual name, too. Ramimilk and Milk are distinguishable places in Vvardenfell, which would imply Kushalit is a different place from Assalkushalit.

Gotta admit, that was pretty funny when I saw it myself too.SidraWillowsky wrote: »You all cannot possibly be serious with this BS. What in the actual hell...

oh god...I also prepared for a door and a doorframe based on their small icons, so yeah I was also surprised when the frame turned out to be a giant arch.
That said, I'm pretty sure the arch wasn't meant as a doorframe, but as a larger structural item just like the tower we got. And the door isn't all bad, it fits into some doorframes pretty seamlessly (and it will also be easier to construct a custom doorframe for it than for the rounded Solitude door we had. I just wish they will add more door varieties (rectangular wood, maybe with Blackwood?). But I don't mind the door, it fits quite good in Strident Springs for example, and I wouldn't have used a white stone doorframe in any of my houses anyway.

The Ayleid Bench has to be sunken halfway into the floor to be interactable. As it is originally placed in the house (and for that matter in every instance in-game) they are not sittable. The height of the bench as originally placed is about chair height, but in order to actually sit on the bench it has to be less than knee-height on a breton of average height. When my average-height breton sits on the sunken-in ayleid bench her feet disappear into the ground.
Can the interactivity whateverness of the ayleid bench be adjusted?
Anyone else have any thoughts on this potential move? If it's just me that's fine but I'm personally thinking this small change would actually improve the house considerably. The more I'm looking at it, the entire path to the right of the portal is completely useless considering it is literally just a path with no room to build anywhere and it's not even a shortcut to the main area (going straight and taking a right is about the same distance but then you don't have to go through a portal). It just seems silly to me.Screenshot below,

yes this! It has the same music as erstwhile sanctuary which I spent years in. I like this place but the music would have to be changed for me to get it.

It'd be very excruciating to have to buy an 1100 writs bundle just for one recipe.

It is, but it's good for players who want that style after years of pretty cake. Vampires, werewolves, necromancers and other bad guys might like it.

But this is a Chef Donalon cake! I'm going to imagine that it's red velvet with dark chocolate filling and decoration, and that thing on the top is a fountain dispensing a never-ending stream of thick cherry brandy sauce
Absolutely loving the trend towards adding structural furnishing plans as daily rewards. Love all the Markarth platforms! No walls though?
Now we gotta do this for older zones as well

This. It's a good incentive to get those 30 quest achievements and the furnishings are great.
It would be really cool to get Velothi building blocks as well
