Yes, but that was a chapter update. (This is a dungeon DLC and base game patch)
There also was one for Summerset but as far as I know they have not imposed an NDA on any PTS since then.

It was the last one as I can recall also.

Pretty sure they did away with the NDAs with Elsweyr and since have gone on to trust the community to not spoil story line threads when testing new content. It has worked fine thus far as the PTS is open to everyone.

The only memorable incident was when patch notes leaked early from a source leading to wild angry speculation of the player base. That unique situation was dealt with.

Yeah, same.

I mean, there are individuals outside of the company under NDA, even now, but the last PTS wide NDA was Summerset (I think.)

The NDA's are for CLOSED BETAS. Not open PTS tests. There is a difference.

Wait, I remember, the last time the PTS was NDAed was the press/influencer test of Greymoor last year. ZOS shut down the PTS for a week, and it was a very short list of people who had access to it during that window. It replaced their annual Influencer testing event, and their press events earlier in the month.

Before that, yeah, Summerset. I think Elsweyr was just lobbed up onto the PTS.

There is no NDA but you still aren't allowed to post spoilers for the story :P

PTS=Public Test Server. Any test that's under a NDA you would get a special invite to.

What used to happen was there was a press event in about March and you got to play the chapter for just an hour at that event. No access after that.

There was an NDA for about a month from that point on until media day when the embargo it was lifted and all the media reports came out.

Then it was probably on PTS a few weeks later and on PTS there was no NDA.

it is generally considered good manners though not to spoil the story.

There definetly was an NDA for the Elsweyr PTS but it only applied to the story iirc. Not sure about Greymoor.

You would need to sign the NDA *before* you have access to the content. Because it only applies to knowledge you gain *after* you sign (agree to) the agreement.

Keep in mind that this is just the two-dungeon DLC update. There may be an NDA prior to the actual Chapter release (on PTS in May or so).
