I wouldn't say never. Parts of his writings have always found their way into the games. He wrote the Sermon 37 for ESO's Morrowind chapter. And specifically from the Aldudagga, snow whales were mentioned in Dragonhold, and much of Alduin's lore that ended up in Skyrim is from there as well.If they do the Leaper Demon King, I'll forever sing ESO's praises.I was hoping Meridia will be somehow involved. Maybe we'll get some kind of Mehrunes Dagon origins? I have no idea what they'll do with Dagon other than rehashing TES IV
For the uninitiated: https://www.imperial-library.info/content/fight-one-eating-birth-dagon
oh boy if they do any of kirkbride's fever(err..more drug induced) dream lore I would be stoked but..they wont..but If they do it would be amazing.
they wont though. unfortunately. its about as possible as bethesda and obsidian shaking hands and admitting their wrongs on both sides. which even under microsoft likely wont happen but.
Oh god I would love a surreal story line with the old crazy ass lore before it became the bland ass writing we have today.
Was kinda hoping they wouldnt just go full fan service and rehash TesIV content with Dagon and Oblivion gates.
Im suprised so many ppl are so hyped about it.
I loved Oblivion, but i wish the Eso team took some risks and maybe give us something different.
Oh well.

Considering TESIV itself was a bit of a let-down in some aspects, I think they have the potential to improve upon it even if they tell a story in the same grooves. There is plenty around Cyrodiil, Dagon and the Mysterium Xarxes that is weird and wild and deserves another look. Was kinda hoping they wouldnt just go full fan service and rehash TesIV content with Dagon and Oblivion gates.

I still hope, but if the setting is the same, and the baddie is the same, and gates are the same they'd better have some real quality plot. Like, Orsinium-level quality.

It was about time we get some imperial theme content
As of now imperial are always the antagonist with some exeption in elsweyr and dragonhold
Even the gold coast was more dark brotherhood than imperials(wich is ok seeing what dlc it was) and had the imperials as ennemy

How can you say that the infuriating Little Miss Perky Pants is a better character than Raz ?!

No idea what you mean by "infuriating Little Miss Perky Pants", but Eveli is clearly a better character than the obnoxious cat-spy with a red mohawk and a speech impediment that only accentuates his smugness, serving a bland pretender-queen-child.

Those of us who hate Eveli have our nerves grated by the obnoxiously hyper, chipper, fake-Cockney-accented Wood Elves which this game loves for some reason and of which she's a particularly annoying example.
I'm with you on the matter of queen Ayrenn, but Raz? Nah, I would take him over Eveli any day, anywhere.

What you see as "eager and excited" , I see as just another "hyper & 'cute' Wood Elf stereotype dialled up to 11" but it might be that I just hate that kind of character, just like I hate the "edgy seductive assassin" type that Naryu embodies. I also just really hate her voice/accent, they're like nails on the chalkboard to me.
For that reason, I find Gwendis a lot more tolerable, and I find that she is portrayed as more mature and sure of herself compared to the base game. Perhaps Eveli will have grown a bit since Orsinium, and be prone to fewer Bosmer jokes and childish antics. As you said, she was affected by her experiences.
