15 times the game breaking bugs, 0 communication , 10 times the lag, this will be so ground breaking, instead of losing skill points our characters will get deleted(there will be a paywall for these features though only ESO+ members will get to enjoy them).

I'm usually hyped for news, because I like the story part of the game, but at this point, I'd rather they'd put all new content releases on hold until they fixed performance. I don't want the only part of the game that's working to be questing, it's not why I primarily enjoy the game, so it puts a damper on things.

I would rather they shut the game down for 6 months and hired a team to go through the code line by line. I love this game, but I haven't been able to enjoy it this year. Since Harrowstorm and the financial decision to move all spaghetti code server side to accommodate Stadia it has been terrible.

They should drop stadia and focus on the platforms that got ruined by their decision to incorporate it. I actually believe without the changes in harrowstorm and aside from the recent crashes, performance would be much better than it was in 2019. 2019 in comparison seems like dream.

Hope that comes with fixing the mess that hasn't been addressed yet. Which is the vampire skill line rework.

    Meridia
The book is shown with a golden glow. Could that golden glow have something to do with Meridia? We know that she is often associated with golden light, and since the planemeld ended, there have been suggestions that something is off or wrong with her. Could we see Meridia make a return as an antagonist. (If Meridia really is Merida???). Or could we see the return of Darien, if he's still trapped in the Coloured Rooms.

    The Book
What is this book? Why is there an elf lying by it? There certainly seems to be some significance to it. Books just don't glow, even in the Elder Scrolls universe, unless there is something special about them (or you haven't collected it yet). If Dagon is involved, it could be the Mysterium Xarxes. Though, the golden glow, again, could be dealing with Meridia. We've seen glowing parchment connected to her and her dealings before. Maybe it's a tome about her, belonging to her, or a message from her. Or, even though she doesn't have a book connected to her, Vaermina's disciples in Skyrim do have a book about the Dreamstride (both a state and Vaermina's realm). Bit of a stretch, but hey, we're all pretty much making bits of stretches here.

Basically, all we have are small hints, with a bit more leaning towards Dagon. But again, nothing is certain. And nothing may be what it seems.

I'm personally still holding out for the Battlespire being introduced. The gateway to all the Oblivion realms and all that.

    Guess we'll know on Thursday.

The glow does not strike me as golden. It looks like the typical oblivion orange/red to me that Dagon tends to pose.
Meridia is always shown with bright yellow light, which this is not to my eye.

I see no hint or sign that Meridia has anything to do with it. It is quite clear, that she seems to have a masterplan and I suppose she will be the last confrontation in the last chapter ever to come.

Please no more meridia, she is annoying and her character model is worse than the cosplay nocturnal we got. The one prince who should with more air time is Mephala imo.

Mehrunes is gonna be sweet but whether or not he's the main chapter boss or just a dungeon one is still up in the air. I'm hoping for more ayelid quests and locations. Maybe we can see the Cyrodilic order of vampires make an appearance. IDK anything is better than Meridia lol

For me teaser looks like same concept as diablo 3 leah nightmare where she had vision about Azmodan invasion. In eso it could be mehrunes dagon invasion. In both scenario we fight against hell.

That is the one thing that may include Meridia. We will likely (hopefully) see a lot about Ayleids. Meridia is known to be their chief patron or she was when they still lived.

I think there's enough evidence in the GIF to say that is Eveli touching the Mysterium Xarxes, and the book reacting to her touch. As Martin so nervously yells at us, "By the Nine! Such a thing is dangerous even to handle!"

So, I think we're basically getting a prequel to TES IV.

The Eveli we meet next year is not going to be the person we knew in Wrothgar. She may be the chief antagonist. She may even turn out to be Mankar Camoran's great granny or something.

This is going to be good

This thread kind of reminds me of the last year before we knew that we were heading to Skyrim, but nothing else about it. All we had to go off of was a few hints in Crown Crate names and other datamines. All the debates were whether we would see Vampires, Reachmen, or Blackreach/Dwemer. And when it came to it we saw... all of them!

I kinda hope it is related to Vaermina as some have said. Vaermina has yet to fulfill their threat of vengeance before we escaped Quagmire at the end of the Stormhaven questline: "Even if you escape Quagmire, mortal, you will not escape my vengeance. I can be patient, very patient... Goobye, for now."

Why so soon ? Starting the hype in december for a chapter that usually comes around may is a bit dumb.

They are trying to stem the tide of exodus as early as possible by luring us with the promise of new content..... whether it works or not.

I hated what happened to Leah in Diablo 3. What is interesting is she is voiced by Jennifer Hale, and she is the voice actress for Lyris in Elder Scrolls Online as well.

Ugh cyrodil is so boring. Its one of the most bland and indistinct areas in all of eso. In the flavors of food its plan white bread and margarine. This is going to be a very very very slow year lol I hated Oblivion too what a let down after Morrowind. Please I want Black Marsh this better not be followed up by Hammerfell perhaps even more boring. Ugh if so I'll die of boredom.

Not in the lore. Cyrodiil is quite weird there. It was made bland for Oblivion, but I have some hope ZOS weirds it up again.

    Looking forward to it.
I loved this lasts year story it was made beautifully and the story line with the dark heart towards the ending was so good.

She indeed looks like eveli and that I would find very exciting. She is such a fun character.
